Very cute and peaceful, little Bunh Mi spot!
A true hidden gem, in “east kitsalano” by the entrance of Granville Island.
Very authentic Vietnamese cuisine, especially the fresh and excellent bunh mi sandwiches!
Truly like travelling to Vietnam for an authentic lunch experience.
The freshest crisp basil and lettuce, made the first bite of my shrimp and ham salad roll an epic experience. Immediately transporting my taste buds to Vietnam!
The first thing I look for in a good bunh mi, is classic fresh patté and veggies. I was happily greeted with both! The quality ham and cilantro was the cherry on top.
With authentic Vietnamese iced coffee, my affection grew for this delicious treat of a lunch.
Very grateful for the kind service and had a wonderful experience. I definitely will be back soon for my Vietnamese cravings in this kitsalano gem!!
Five stars!
Perfect place to teach kids about Vietnamese culture and the importance of learning from each other’s history.
The combination of French and Vietnamese cultures, makes it a perfect place to start learning about each other.
Extremely well done.

Read moreThe bliss banh mi is a local gem! Located a few minutes from my work in kits, this cafe is the perfect spot for an affordable grab and go meal. Their lemongrass chicken is packed full of flavour, as are the bbq pork and char siu variations! The decor inside the cafe feels bright, welcoming and cutesy and the staff are so nice and helpful. After trying them a few times (popped by before summer fireworks, and also picked up for a picnic at Granville island), I put in an order with them to cater my daughter’s birthday party which fed 50 people with food to spare. They have an extensive catering menu and the owner will go through with you how much food you need. We received many compliments at the party and will definitely order from them again....
Read moreI'm always in search of great sandwiches around the city and this place is pretty solid. I got the Crispy Pork Banh Mi (with hot sauce on the side cuz I'm a wimp) and iced Viet Coffee.
I can't give the sandwich a full five stars because I think the bread could've been a lot crispier. It's served on French bread after all so it's gotta have that crunch. Also, there could have been a bit more pickled veggies to really balance the flavours.
The iced coffee was a bit on the sweet side but this is really just a personal taste preference. It's still got a good strong coffee flavour.
Still, it was a great, satisfying lunch for a reasonable price. Friendly staff and a nice, low key vibe. I'm definitely coming back to try more things on...
