Hello we had a reservation for 6 people at 6pm yesterday. I ordered a bottle of wine with my gf and I had ordered a platter because their menu is overwhelming and I thought it would be easier that way. The waiter was clearly unhappy that I ordered a platter(6 rolls). She singled me out saying: "Is this only for you? It's a lot of food." I told her that I will eat what I can and take the rest home ( At 715 pm, the waiter came to tell us awkwardly that that we have 15 minutes left to finish up bc they had another reservation (and she told us that we were already made aware of this LOL (obv no one told us bc we would've left). My friend called them twice to confirm the reservation and no one told him there was a time limit. This morning I called and tried to make a new "fake" reservation to see what they will say and AGAIN they did not mention a time limit. After confronting the person on the phone, she said it "depends on how busy they are". I told her about my bad experience and she said "I don't care" and she said I shouldn't have ordered a platter for 4 people. I understand if im not eating and just taking a table thats my cue to leave but I was still eating and drinking they are actually watching me eat. They should not sell bottle of wine when there is a time constraint. I have been too many restaurants never and no where ever in my whole life was I kicked out while still eating. We spent 400 $ between the 6 of us and had less than an hour to finish the food and the alcohol. Also the waiter did not mention that the tip is included in the bills therefore I tip on top of the tip and i was not made aware. Highly recommend that the owner trains their employee in regard to rules regarding the time constraint and should not be allowed to sell that much food with time limit. I should of been made aware that we should not get a bottle because there a time limit. We where kicked out of the restaurant with our bottle and food. No one should go there the only prefer money over clients experience. No one should go there. They just want...

Food was very bad all 5 of my friends had a some sort of issue with their meals I just happen to send my udon back the aroma was bad and the appearance was so unappetizing looked like it was made 3 days ago noodles were so soft they were broken apart before I was handed the soup from being in the broth for far too long obviously wasn’t made to order like the waitress said, taste was also just blatantly bad. The florets on the tempura broccoli were some how burnt under the tempura I spat it out and it was just dusty burnt florets and the beer was super warm. Waitress was rude, got my order wrong which wasn’t an issue but how to handled the mishap was poor how she spoke and the condescending domineer she clearly didn’t want to be there (generally just an unhappy person from the 4 interactions I had with her). Never saw her smile once. lighten up lady, short dark hair nose or septum piercing can’t remember which. And restaurant is not easy on the eyes lot’s going with the decor sort of junky/ tacky items hanging around from the ceiling. To be honest if the food was have decent and waitress was a semi nice or decent at customer service I would have had no problem. Place reminded me of Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen nightmares. I’m not a picky eater by no means aswell but was such a let down I had to send it back which I’ve never done anywhere. This place just has an accumulation of negative attributes I’ve only heard bad things about the Eatery especially when I worked at coe-lumber the building supply store next door no one there liked it either now all these years later after going despite what I had heard I see why. If you want sushi go across the street to green leaf sushi save your self the time, money, disappointment and your appetite. Won’t be back and will advise other not...

We've been here a few times and after this time I don't think we'll go back. The food was great but the service ruined it. We were told there was a 1.5h seating, which was completely reasonable (we sat down at 8pm). Unfortunately, it took us ~15 minutes to have our order taken. Once our food arrived we realized that our appetizers hadn't been put in. By the time we were able to get our servers attention we were already done our mains so we didn't bother with them. When we asked if we could order another drink the server reminded us of the 1.5h seating time because they were busy and said she would check our table to see when we sat down (8:45), she didn't come back for another 15 minutes. At 9 we asked if we could order another drink and she said that we wouldn't be able to because of the seat limit and they had a 1.5h wait at the door for a table. Our table was checked out at 9:07.

When we left the restaurant there wasn't anyone waiting outside. If we had gotten our order taken in a more timely manner and been able to get ahold of our server we would have probably ordered more and racked up a higher bill. Overall very...

Something that sets this restaurant apart is their vegetarian sushi options. The creativity and attention to detail in crafting these vegetarian rolls is truly impressive. For the meat enthusiasts and traditional sushi lovers, the regular sushi selection will also meet your expectations. The long and carefully curated menu offers something to satisfy every sushi craving. We also cannot overlook the drink options available at the eatery. Whether you seek alcoholic or non-alcoholic refreshments, their comprehensive beverage menu has you covered. Savor the delightful sushi with some sake, indulge in artfully crafted cocktails, or relish in their inventive mocktails. We got a Mango, Lime, Jalapeno & Ginger Beer mocktail which was a treat! The restaurant creates a unique ambiance through it's decor, music and friendly service team which is also an attraction for sure. We hit their busy time so it was quite loud inside. Would be a great date night place or a group hangout however wouldn't recommend for families with kids. We got street parking nearby quite easily.

Funky sushi place in Kits! Felt like entering a brand new world when stepping in The Eatery. The Uv light really blew my mind since it made my white T-shirt glow in the dark!! The fact that they used unique decors and art displays made this place unforgettable. The food was epic! My tip is to ask the server for sushi recommendation. Can’t remember what she suggested me, but it sure was amazing. *Bonus: Deep-fried MARS bar was a hidden treasure! Somewhere between $7-$8, but it went along with cream, and it tasted soooooooooo good. Server was dedicated yet very friendly and chill. She always came over and asked about customers, and she didn’t stress out at all despite the huge number of people in the restaurants and limitied number of employees. Overall, it was not that affordable. But you don’t just pay for the food, you pay for the service and experience. Go here at least once if you have a chance, and you can decide yourself if you wanna return or not. :)

Some of the worst service I’ve ever received. Went there this Tuesday around 10:15pm, we saw that the place closed at 11:30pm so we assumed we had enough time to grab a bite. From the moment we entered the waitress acted as if our presence was a nuisance. They apparently stopped taking orders at 10:30 so just as we sat down the waitress told us the kitchen was closing implying we should leave. I said we could decide by then and from there she left. She only walked by to tell us “2 mins left”. When taking out order she just sat down at our table and seemed annoyed we had taken so long. Her whole behaviour was so unprofessional. When giving out food she just put it on her table and said “I’m gonna go do closing stuff now” and just walked away. We didn’t see her again until we paid. She was watching the machine as we paid too which was uncomfortable. Food was good but definitely need some new employees.
