I believe the gelato here is made in small batches with high-quality ingredients. Flavours like dark chocolate, salted caramel and Italian cherry really stand out for their rich taste and smooth dense texture. My child canāt get enough of the coconut sorbetto and the refreshing fruit flavours.
The shop feels cozy and inviting, with a clean design and friendly counter service. They let us sample a few flavours before deciding, which is a big plus. Evenings are quieter, but lines do form on warm afternoons, so heading over for a mid-day treat can save you a short wait.
Prices seem reasonable for Vancouver and match the quality you get. A single scoop is plenty to satisfy without feeling like youāve overpaid. Pints to take home are handy, though popular flavours can sell out by late afternoon. It was partly as described but far from being a thicker concoction, as described on the website, it was super thin and watery, there was hardly any chocolate taste and the cheese was clumped at the bottom and barely melted. The bread and crackers included became a mushy mess. The only highlight was the sorbetto that was included with another drink and has a nice flavour.
Staff was very nice and helpful and I might try their regular offerings, but I'm not inclined to try anymore of their hot...
