Finally DONE with this place. My fiancé and I have been going here for a few years now, there is one young girl that was very sweet and had great customer service everytime we came in (unfortunately she left). However, there is one skinny guy with glasses that’s really stubborn about serving a customer right.
I personally like to use low sodium soy sauce, and this one guy is ALWAYS difficult and particular about letting us use the bottle of low sodium soy sauce. It’s tucked behind the counter with an ample supply for refilling, but he is always very chincey about letting us use it….. however, when the nice girl was working there, she would have it for us ready every time with a smile…. And he plays dumb after seeing us every single time that he doesn’t know we want to use it.
There are loads of better sushi places we go to that happily let us use the low sodium soy sauce. He has a little passive aggressive attitude about it. It’s very silly and stubborn. He has this look on his face whenever we ask for it. Really childish.
Anyways, we thought we would give him one more chance, and went back today, but he pulled the same maneuver for too many times for our liking.
We were good customers, but we are taking our business elsewhere. By the way, don’t try the chicken or the Ika karaage …. It sucks. All cheap batter and not good.
I’m a very nice guy and my fiancé is nice as well but he was taking our kindness for weakness and he just lost two good...
Read moreI stopped by for a quick dinner knowing they offer a solid deal for 3 rolls with miso. I had the salmon avo/tuna avo/yam avo rolls which were a decent size and quality. Unfortunately my very last piece I had was from Tuna Avocado had a massive bone inside which if swallowed, I would've been in trouble. I told the Waitress and she went to the chef and came back only to clarify it was a bone....
I mentioned that this could have been a liability for the restaurant if I had happened to have swallowed, but she didn't process this. I wasn't provided any recovery or apology or any chefs accountability.
I would have appreciated something, but I left minimal tip and if I ate there again I would avoid the Tuna altogether.
Much better to order from Himè Sushi and they have a great Avocado Combo for $16.75, they always do it well.

Went back to give another try, different server there who I shared my last experience with. She mentioned she read my initial review and recognized the severity of the situation and was very sorry there wasn't any recovery. She offered me a free roll which was very kind and all my sushi was bone free. This is how you do recovery service and I'm looking forward to more meals...
Read moreA really good place to get COVID. We came just before lunch and although the food took awhile to come out, it was pretty tasty and priced reasonably for the portion sizes. Around noon, the teenagers at the nearby school had their lunch break and flooded the restaurant so much so that I couldn't get out of the restaurant without brushing past at least 10 people. Some people took the extra chairs from other tables and sat right next to us, essentially making it impossible for us to leave without asking others to get up and move. Others just stood around the restaurant making a line from the door to the cash register. The staff did nothing to control the crowd despite it being packed with about 30 people in a small space. I guess I should have expected as much from a place where they don't check your vaccination status. I'd recommend coming during off peak hours because the service is really lacking but the...
