I had the chance to visit Via Tevere Pizzeria on Main Street, and overall, it was a fine experience. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was kind and attentive. One standout was their willingness to accommodate our feedback—when we found the croutons (or bread pieces) in our salad way too hard, they kindly deducted it from our bill, which was appreciated. As for the food, the pizza was good, but I wouldn’t say it stood out as particularly memorable compared to some other great local spots like Spacca Napoli in Port Moody. I was also surprised that they didn’t have balsamic vinaigrette, which I personally find to be a staple option. That said, if you’re in the area and craving Neapolitan-style pizza, it’s still a solid choice, and the staff’s hospitality definitely added to the experience. Would I go out of my way to return? Maybe not, but I wouldn’t rule it out either!

So glad Via Tevere opened a new spot on Main. Easily the best pizza in the city, and now even easier to get. The dough is always spot on! Chewy, perfectly cooked, with a bit of char and tons of flavour. Toppings are fresh and balanced, nothing overdone, just quality ingredients handled right. The patio’s great too. It faces the street and has a mix of sunny and shady tables, so whether you’re trying to tan or trying cool off, you’re set. The staff are always super welcoming and honestly just great people all around. Happy hour’s a bonus. Five bucks off pizza makes it even more worth it. Definitely one of those places you keep coming back to. WE LOVE VIA TEVERE!!

Ive been here twice so far about 8 months apart, and the 2nd time was far better in service and quality of food. Service was attentive personable. They included coloring sheets and crayons for my daughter this time when they didn't last time. The pizza was fantastic as usual, I want to say they were more generous with toppings which is fantastic, but the star of the show was the salad and the crispy prosciutto option on top of the salad and it was definitely not like that the first time I came. Please, management, keep it like this forever and you will have a loyal customer forever. I will definitely be back.

Update: their happy hour is legit the best deal in town, period!!! 💙 I’ve been twice since my original review. Arugula salad and a few of their most popular pies for less and you can order from reg menu also. Don’t forget happy hour negroni…

The last time I was at Victoria location is a total blur because that place is so hectic and we were seated right by the door with all the people waiting inches away from us. Now they are open walking distance from us and it’s so good. We went around 6 pm Friday night and lucked out with no wait. The service is quick yet warm and friendly. Arugula salad with a bucket of parm and fried capers was delicious as were all the pizzas especially filetti with its intense roasted tomato and garlic flavour. We ate and cleared out in an hour as there were people waiting outside in the rain. They have a sign on the door saying 90 min limit - don’t be a jerk and respect this especially when there are people waiting. The table next to us were done eating when we arrived and were still there when we left. Not cool. This location takes reservations AND has weekday happy...

We brought our son here for his 9th birthday, not a kids party, but a family dinner together. He loves the pizza here and we've been several times so when we asked him where he wanted dinner, he was very happy to suggest Via Tevere. We started with the bread knots with marinara dipping sauce (if only the order was larger, it was so tasty!) and also had the Caesar salad along with 3 pizzas. Grandma said the salad was the best Caesar salad she's ever had, and I might have to agree with her. They add just a touch of arugula to it with lots of parmesan cheese too. Overall, the price for 4 adults and 1 child was very fair, service was excellent (our server was still training but was great and attentive), food was delicious. I can also vouch for their food truck if you happen to spot it out and about. I've had so many of their oven toasted sandwiches in the past and I get cravings for them all the time. You can find it parked weekdays at Burrard and Pender street from 11am to 2pm. Thank you for...

10/10 Great pizza and salad! 2/10 for service.

I have been twice, both times I've put my name and phone number on the wait list and BOTH times not being called back.

The first time they apologized and said "my party was accidentally missed", after we went back after over 30 mins and saw that the restaurant had completely emptied but we hadn't been called. Fine a one off, until the same thing happened the next time.

Again last night we went out for dinner around 830 - a server put our name and number down and said they would call when they had a table ready in about 20 mins. Walked by the restaurant after 45 mins and no call, to see it completely emptied and asked why we weren't called. Our server blatantly lied to us and said "OH our hostess had put your number down incorrectly and I heard her trying to call you". When we left we looked at the list as it was left out and easily enough to look at and our information...
