My family and I came here on Family day, right when they opened at noon. I believe we were the first group there but the place quickly began to fill up over the course of the next hour. Service from the start was already great, as we got asked what type of seating we wanted (i.e. a booth by the window or a table more to the back /inside of the restaurant). Being a beautiful sunny day, our group decided for the booth - it was spacious, comfortable, and I liked that we got to enjoy the sun without it blinding our eyes.

We were quickly offered menus and inquired if we wanted drinks. We just got water all around but I did look at the drink menu as well. Variety is quite vast, with lots of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Overall, it seemed like their beverages were on the pricier side but peeking at other tables later, I did notice that their drink presentation was phenomenal - bright, colorful, and lots of fun glasses and cups. Definitely Instagram-worthy. Speaking of such, I loved the decor, where they had some murals and little knick knacks on the shelves.

Our group quickly came to the decision of ordering two sets of BIRRIA TACOS and I, myself, got the QUESABIRRIA.

I highly recommend the Quesabirria! Not your average quesadilla, even in terms of presentation! This "Quesabirria" was thick, not flattened, and is stuffed and loaded with shredded beef, Pico de Gallo, lettuce, and cheese. It is also topped with guacamole, aioli, and a grilled jalapeno. The meat was juicy and tender, and the overall dish was very flavorful. It comes with a side salad - nothing too exciting about it but it was nice to have a side of veggies. 10/10 would recommend and get again!

The birria tacos were also well made. The tacos themselves were crisp, with juicy and tender meat, and a healthy helping of cheese (enough for a cheese pull!) The consomme was also delicious and paired well. This dish came with a side of beans and mexican rice.

All in all, portions were great!

Again, service was amazing. We were rounded on about three times during our stay, to see if things were good and/or if we needed anything. We also got a refill on our waters once.

The place was decently clean and tidy (though I can't comment on the washrooms since I didn't pay...

The food was so mid it was not even funny. Ive never experienced such blandly falvoured underwhelming Mexican food. If I can compare this food to a person I would compare it to Justin Trudeau, cannot think of a more deceiving person at this moment. Good from far far from good. The service was ok... the drink the she made was not ok... the ambience was cool aside from the tacky dollar store Halloween decorations.

Unless your a wood bridge soccer mom thats never tried actual Mexican food I would not recommend you going here read below as I've an accurate account of my post traumatic experience at 3 mariachis

Now the food tried a few things..

Please note the prices are extremely expensive given the quality and taste you receive like this has to be Mexican food for like soccer moms or something.

Birria taco: the shredded beef was similar taste and smell to elite canned cat food. The dip had no flavour... the tortilla was soggy even before it was dipped. Reminded me of a soup kitchen I volunteered at when I was younger over all.

The beef enchilada was the same canned cat food they used in the birria taco can hardly be described as shredded beef. The beans they gave on the side had more flavour overall and again the tortilla was soggy and stale at the same time... I don't even know how they managed such a feat.

The shrimp taco: was actually pretty decent other. The shrimp it self was fried and glazed in a sauce but the toppings and the taste of stale tortilla kinda made it mid but was probably sadly the best thing there... because I also had the mariscada I don't know if that translates to freezer burn in english but it would make total sense I got 3 or 4 pieces of shrimp 6 mussels and a piece of frozen fish and some calamari rings topped over the Mexican rice that they give on the side of every dish that was lightly sautéed in tomato sauce I presume. For 32 dollars I got some nofrills frozen sea food mix with a side of rice I'm tomato sauce and thus was actually recommended...

I went there last night, Saturday night on a holiday weekend in July. The place was BUSY! A lively, happy atmosphere greeted us upon walking in, and we were seated immediately at a comfortable table by the bar. The place is crammed, so you have to squeeze through people, but like I said, the atmosphere was great overall. Prices were decent, and the quality of food and service was worth every penny.

Our server, Avi, was an absolute star. My partner and I had just driven from Nova Scotia, and were road-weary and dressed in comfy clothes, and she treated us like gold. We over-ordered some delicious Nachos (a small could have been a whole meal for us both!), and succulent tacos (the shredded beef taco platter is sweet and savory, just an amazing combo of flavours). Big recommendation from me on the food and drinks (mojito was quite sweet for my taste, but nice and light and plenty of mint).

Avi was fantastic, keeping our water topped off, chiming in with recommendations, checking in often, although she was clearly very busy. Top tier server skills.

But here is what knocked my socks off. I went to the parking lot for a smoke, leaving my partner at the table. A large group that had been gathering next to us had new members arrive, and unbeknownst to me, they were accidentally jostling and bumping my partner as she tried to eat. She is sweet and shy and normally I would politely intervene on her behalf, but I was not there.

Avi was. I came back in the front door and she met me there with a smile telling me she moved my partner and wanted to make sure I didn't have a moment of panic or discomfort. My partner told me the whole story, and I can hardly express how it feels when someone protects your partner when you are absent.

It may seem like such a small thing, but it took the night from great to amazing. We arrived grumpy and tired, we left positively glowing (with PLENTY of leftovers in takeout boxes).

Try this place out, and if you get Avi, relax and enjoy, because she has you...

I recently dined at 3 Mariachis Mexican Restaurant in Vaughan and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, the lively atmosphere and vibrant decor transported me straight to Mexico. The friendly staff greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu offers a wide variety of Mexican dishes, and I had the pleasure of trying their tacos mushroom and chicken tacos, veg nachos, and elote. Each dish was prepared to perfection and bursting with authentic flavors. The tacos were a standout, filled with tender and flavorful meat that melted in my mouth. The mushroom and chicken varieties offered a delightful combination of textures and tastes. The veg nachos were a pleasant surprise. The crispy tortilla chips were generously topped with a colorful medley of fresh vegetables, smothered in melted cheese and accompanied by a tangy salsa. It was a delightful explosion of flavors that satisfied both my taste buds and my vegetarian cravings. The elote, a classic Mexican street food, was a true highlight. The grilled corn on the cob was generously coated with creamy mayo, crumbled cheese, and a sprinkle of spices. Every bite was an explosion of smoky, savory, and slightly tangy flavors—a must-try for any corn lover. Overall, 3 Mariachis Mexican Restaurant is a gem in Vaughan for anyone seeking authentic Mexican cuisine. The flavors are rich, the ambiance is vibrant, and the service is top-notch. Whether you're a fan of tacos, nachos, or street food delights like elote, this place will not disappoint. I highly recommend visiting 3 Mariachis for a mouthwatering experience that will transport you to the heart of Mexico.
