I love AllStar Wings & Ribs, have been going to their location for years and they do have some of my favorite wings but there are as always things that could be better or may not be to everyone's taste.
Their wings though they are delicious they are very much on the saucy side, and because of that their wings aren't ever really that crispy. They do offer dry flavours that are not covered in sauce as well if you prefer to have crispy wings note drenched in sauce. If you like saucy wings and a lot of variety in flavour/sauces with varying levels of heat its a great place and its why really like them.
But comes the problem I've always had which I'm sure most people can agree too is that 200 different flavours is great but the names of the flavours are not exactly self explanatory of what you're going to get. So you can either choose something that actually kind of explains the flavour in its name, blindly choose something "God of Thunder", or ask the server a a million questions as they pull out cheat sheet cards to tell you what kind of flavour/sauce they use on the wing. Not that I expect a server to remember what kind of sauce each wing uses but still its a lot. Though they put flavour descriptors for the dry flavours and thats it.
But even flavours that you think might be one thing turns out to be much different than expected. For example the "Canadian" flavour you might assume might be a spicy maple syrup, or maple bacon, nope its a teriyaki sauce they use, how is that Canadian? Still tastes great, just not what you'd expect. So yes the large amount of choice and the fact you cant tell without asking what kind of wing your getting is the biggest issue. They dont even at least give any descriptors online either which means you'd have to call and ask someone if you really wanted to know what flavour you'd be getting if you ordered online.
Also I know they say that have an app you can download to see what flavours their wings are but thats just an extra step I doubt most people will do, and the app isnt even listed on itunes or the Apple app store if you try to search for it.
Regardless great little sports bar to go to if you're ever craving some wings, or just some classic bar food with a lot of options, just know what you're getting into...

But what annoyed me was the Asian waitress Aug 22 evening failed to tell my group of 7 that gratuity was included, she read every single detail on our receipt except that part, everyone in our group tipped her only to see the receipt after that gratuity was already included! She got tipped twice which is theft. After coming here for years, won’t be back again.. do better

Yes you guys reached out, but like I said, I live 2 hours away and won’t ever come there just for $18 tip refund, not worth our time. This is over $60-70 in tips from my group that was taken from us wrongly. I’m not sure how big of a mistake the franchise needs to make in order to credit us a meal. The service was horrible.
I mentioned I come there 2 times a month, and always we spend $100’s of dollars with our group, but this experience was just too bad to ignore. Going to be giving our business elsewhere, as none of us are happy with your “solution”. Do better.

The store was not busy, believe me, I’ve been there plenty of nights during much busier playoff nights where the food came much faster.
The other recent reviews also speak of a reduced quality in food and service, not just my review.
Initially, we wanted our tips back, but thought, if we’re going through this whole hassle due to a lack or proper service from your end, then a meal out of courtesy would help restore our relationship and it’s a minimal request. But seeing that you guys don’t want to credit the meal, and are only offering the bare minimum and not truly caring about keeping up with customer satisfaction, then that’s your business decision, but the offer of solution you made was not enough, and you could edit your response 50 times but the problem hasn’t been resolved, and the issue is still here.
