I stumbled upon this place looking for something to eat. Thank the stars above I did. This may be my favourite new spot. Prices are fair, extremely fair especially considering the quality of food and quantity. The place is extremely clean. The owner and staff are amazing people. Great conversation and gentle souls. The best thing about this place though is actually the food. Everything is made in house, starting from the breads, sauces shawarma etc. I said everything, I lied the only thing that isn’t house made was the saj (which I didn’t know till the end lol). The Beef Shawarma Saj melted in my mouth and had a perfect mix of fat in there. So simple yet so good. I dressed it as traditional as can get with tomatoes tahini and hummus. The only thing is the next time I’m going to get it in the saloon bread which I wish I did because it looked amazing and it was made I. House in their Italian Wood Oven. I also got the Shawarma Rocket which is basically a Manakeesh folded. Again they made this fresh, they make their own dough and cooked it in their huge Italian wood oven. The manakeesh exterior was crispy but the whole rest of it was soft light and fluffy. I chose chicken and I usually never do, but it was seasoned nicely and tender. We visited Maroosh for a family dinner and were incredibly impressed! This gem of a spot, conveniently located right beside Vaughan Mills Mall, offers a truly authentic Middle Eastern dining experience.

We started with their Fattoush salad topped with beef—the flavors were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly seasoned. My wife had the chicken on top of the Fattoush, and she loved the tender, juicy meat paired with the crisp veggies and zesty dressing.

Our kids enjoyed the rice plates with both chicken and beef, and they finished every bite—which says a lot! We also tried the cheese pizza, and it was a hit with everyone. Even the hummus and garlic sauce were exceptional—super fresh, creamy, and clearly made in-house.

Everything tasted homemade with quality ingredients. You can really tell they put care into every dish. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. This is definitely a place we’ll return to again and again.
