barBURRITO — Restaurant in Vaughan

I usually go to multiple different BarBurrito locations and everywhere else the service and food are always spot on. The staff are friendly, the portions are fair, and the food tastes fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, this location has to be the absolute worst BarBurrito I’ve ever visited, and it honestly does not even compare to the standard of the other stores.

I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp Bowl and it was a complete letdown from start to finish. The portion size was tiny—by far the smallest I’ve ever received. There were barely any toppings added, and only three shrimp in the entire bowl, whereas at every other BarBurrito I’ve been to, you usually get a handful of shrimp. The few shrimp I did get were cold, tasted lowkey raw, and were completely unappetizing. To make it worse, there was barely any Bang Bang sauce—it was almost nonexistent. That sauce is what gives the dish its flavor, but here it was so little that the bowl tasted bland and dry. Overall, the food was poorly prepared, lacking in freshness, and truly felt like a waste of money.

What made the experience even worse was the service. The lady at the counter was extremely rude and dismissive, acting as if serving me was an inconvenience. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, she made the whole interaction uncomfortable. I’ve never experienced that at any other BarBurrito—normally, staff are polite and respectful.

Between the cold and undercooked shrimp, the missing toppings and sauce, the ridiculously small portion, and the rude service, this location is by far the worst BarBurrito I’ve ever visited. It completely ruined what is normally a reliable and enjoyable meal for me, and I would not recommend this...

This store people are cheater, 😡, they knowingly and intensionally charged me for meat, in my veggie burrito order. Reason I am saying knowingly and intensionally is because I asked them to remove meat charges from the payment amount as I don't have any meat in my order, and they refused to do so, and told me like this is how they charge for burrito, I was like seriously?? Are you crazy??? I am eating same thing at barBurritos since years from now, and I have never paid extra money for meat in my veggie burrito order and where you came from??? Just for few extra bucks they did this to me, I would be more than happy to give even more than that in tip but they don't deserve the tip as well as my future visits to their store.

I will definitely not recommend this particular barBurrito place to anyone, instead I would say, it will be worth to drive little more and go to another...

I ordered bar burrito for a baby shower event I had. The staff was exceptional at gathering all the details weeks before the event and going through the entire menu with me. I also have a nut allergy and they were able to accommodate. The toppings were generous and so fresh. They delivered to my event and they even provide tortilla warmers, food warmers and cutlery. The owner directly spoke with me to ensure all requirements were met and even followed up after the event. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you’re getting and everything was delicious. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again. What makes this location unique is the owner and staff.
