This is hands down the worst bakery ever. Zero stars would have been more appropriate than one. As per their ordering policy, they kindly ask you to give them one week’s notice when placing an order. So you follow their policy only to find out that when you pick up your order, it’s not available for NO legit REASON AT ALL. That’s when the blame game starts… “how did you place the order?”, “was it online?”… “ummmm, the girl should have called you”, “ohhh she didn’t call you”… “you got the call, you just didn’t answer!” Keep in mind, absolutely NO ONE CALLED! Not only was I disappointed that my order was never made, I’m assuming they lost or forgot about the order. But I was offered the WORLD’S SMALLEST CAKE to serve twelve people as an apology, because at this point, they just needed me to keep my mouth shut; so what better way to do so then offer a free cake, but I only had two choices, chocolate or birthday cake. The cake was disgusting and not at all what I wanted. I was offered nothing equivalent to what my order was. I will say that offering the cake was a nice thing to do but it didn’t cover up for their mistakes. Once I brought this matter to the attention of the owner (days later), he went from having a very happy tone with me to a very disgusting tone with me. Didn’t even seem like he wanted to rectify the situation. So unfortunately, hence this review. They may have some great quality bakery items, but when it comes to customer service, they are lacking in that department. Of course the owner is going to cover up for his own mother when it was a clear flaw on their behalf, but making the customer feel like complete garbage was okay and making the customer feel as if it was their own fault. Definitely, will not be returning and they lost...

Do not order anything online through their website. The images on there and description is not what they will deliver. If I could give this shop no stars at all I would. I ordered a cake the sprinkle celebration cake with donuts on top and the description had to mention of amaretto liquor. I received a cake with amaretto liquor as the flavour and the cake looked nothing like the one they advertised on their website. It had sprinkles that was the only thing that looked like the one they had on their website. I called them. I got no apology. A woman picks up and says I will check with the baker to see what happened and call you back. It’s July 17th and I never got a callback from June 26. They simply don’t care I wish I had read their reviews as they have done this to many others in the past. Horrible tasting cake and terrible service $44.00 cake tossed out. You have to give the customer what they ordered not what you decide to give them. The description does not say we will decide on which cake you get the description shows an image of the cake that I purchased and should have received. Horrible place, should be shut down for their lack of honesty. Update since they never got back to me I contacted my credit card company provided them with all the info and photos of what I bought and what I actually got and was able to get my money back from my credit card company they agreed with...

I visited sweet boutique a few months ago and I purchased a sfoglia cake. The cake was good and my experience was ok however the owner was very pushy and rude to customers in the store. I didn’t bother writing a review.

The second time I ordered a cake over the phone, I asked what time they close on the day it would be ready for pick up and the lady gave me the wrong time. When I went to pick up the cake, the shop was closed. No one called to confirm if I was still picking up the cake, so I’m assuming they either didn’t make it or they sold it. I had to scramble to find a cake elsewhere right before the party.

Today I visited the shop to purchase pastries. Considering it was a Friday I expected a variety of fresh pastries. The cannoli looked fine, however everything else looked like pastries you buy in a box in the freezer section of a grocery store. The pastries looked old and the strawberries on the fruit tarts looked dry and brown. When I asked if they had any other pastries, the owner overheard and rudely responded from a distance saying “how many did you want…300?”. I thanked the young lady for her time and I headed to a bakery down the street that has fresh pastries and better customer service.
