I’m a Uber eats driver and I am leaving review to remind the employer of this restaurant location to check the training quality on their staffs. I have done delivering for this restaurant before and I had positive experience here. However, in this afternoon, Dec 24th around 3:20pm. I went in the store to pick up an Uber eats order placed by costumer. I went inside and showed the man worked in the front my code. He then turned around, went in kitchen and told the Asian woman begin preparing the food, and yes, without giving me any word on if the food is ready or no, neither telling me how long do I have to wait in the dining area till the food is ready. I just had to stare into my phone doing nothing because seems like dude is too busy. Then three four minutes later the Asian woman brought a big paper bag out and placed it on the counter without saying anything and went back to cooking. The paper bag that code was written was facing inside of the cash register but not me, so I thought oh great so this restaurant at least knew to confirm code with the delivery pickup person and make sure the food doesn’t go to a wrong household or goes to a thief. Funny how after two more minutes the dude finally came out from the store back whiling his mouth keeps chewing, I told him I was waiting for him to double check with me so I could take off. He then arrogantly said I could have check it by myself. I wanna say that of course I could do it by myself but, with the code facing inside I will have to physically touch the paper bag and turn it around to facing me. And I interpret that the way they position the paper bag is to hide the code and securely have someone to check with the delivery person. At this special covid time neither a costumer or myself would wanna touch anything unnecessarily. Did I mention there were two other costumers waiting in the dining room? The dude just went inside to enjoy his snack and couldn’t care less. He doesn’t tell his costumers if the food is ready, like it would cost a million to get some information from him. I worked at fast food before and this type of behavior doesn’t not present company’s best interest. I demand the manager of this restaurant review the behaviors of your own staff and provide better...
Read moreHad previously given this establishment a 3 star ratings but editing to 1 star because of a terrible experience on a delivery order. Have had issues in the past with delivery, so I stopped ordering for a while but decided to try again . While I have eaten in-store recently and it was fine, the quality of food is abysmal on delivery. I usually order a grilled chicken breast and in-restaurant it’s down fresh, but my last delivery order, not only did they put the chicken on a wheat bun when I ordered gluten free (making the chicken inedible to me), but the chicken was obviously reheated and only a portion of what they usually serve. I gave it to several family members to try and they told me it alsotasted reheated, as it obviously looked it. When I called to complain, I was given a simple “sorry” and nothing else. I wanted to reorder through ubereats (at my own cost as they only refunded me $2 plus tax for the bun while the sandwich is $14 total), but I had to prod the worker to give me assurances that if I reordered it would be made properly, so I decided not to order again. As someone with many food intolerances, there are very little restaurants or fast food that cater to my gluten free, diary free diet, so it’s very disappointing when one of the few places can’t make a simple sandwich with right ingredients (literally a grilled chicken breast, a gluten free bun and some ketchup). Thanks to the inept cooks and terrible customer service, I will not be eating there again. Because of my intolerances, family accommodates me and we order from this establishment but we won’t be ordering from here anymore. As my family has never been a fan and only ate here because I could, it hey wont be ordering from Thai fast food...
Read moreOk, ok, ok… I want to get some things perfectly straight here. I was there for lunch today, August 26, 2025 around 11:30-12:00. The person working was amazing. She took our order very politely, cooked our meals very quickly, and even served us at the table we were sitting at. All the while, having to take others orders, make their orders, and bring them out for them to eat. Then I see her cleaning up. The food was cooked perfectly, and the reason I give a 4 star for the food is only because the beef could have been better. Cooked great, but lacking in taste, and that is the beef’s fault not hers. Here is why your restaurant gets a one star review: SHE WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE WHOLE STORE WORKING. Alone! ALONE! What kind of businessperson allows an employee to be by herself having to cook, clean, take orders, serve orders and manage an entire establishment??? I mean subway wouldn’t even have the audacity to try to have one employee and they make $10 sandwiches!!! You guys charged me $28 for a burger, poutine and a pop and you can’t afford to have two or more employees??? Shame on you as a business owner, she should not have to serve 15+ people all on her own. If I was her I would lock the door between customers and put up a sign. The owner of this place should be ashamed of themselves. You better be paying that woman today $40 an hour, because she was doing the work of...
