I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hero Certified Burgers, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! As someone who truly appreciates a well-made burger, I can confidently say that Hero Burger exceeded my expectations in every possible way.

Ambience & Atmosphere

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the clean and modern setup of the restaurant. The place had a welcoming vibe, with comfortable seating, a well-lit space, and a design that blended fast-casual dining with an upscale feel. The layout was spacious enough that I didn’t feel crammed in, even during busy hours.

The staff at Hero Burger were incredibly friendly and attentive. From taking my order to ensuring that everything was perfect with my meal, they went above and beyond. What really impressed me was the quality of ingredients—everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together, and the toppings were crisp, fresh, and generously portioned. The cheese was perfectly melted, and the sauces added a nice tangy and savory balance without overpowering the beef’s natural taste.

I also love that Hero Burger offers 100% Canadian Angus beef, which makes a big difference in taste. You can genuinely taste the quality in every bite.

Terrible service. Will not return. Everything about my experience today was poor, if I was the owner of this place I'd fire everyone working today as you're just going to drive away customers.

First problem when I placed my order was that the girl who took it was wearing winter clothes, no uniform. I think she was filling in but it was disconcerting and a sign of things to come.

Placed my order and went to wait with two others. Meanwhile I see that two guys get their order and there seems to be frustration on their part with the wait etc. That's foreshadowing number two.

Sit and wait And wait.

Finally one person who was before me gets served. Gets their food, and sits down. Starts eating.

Wait and wait.

A family comes and and starts ordering. Very slow process. One person still in front me is not served but I see a burger has come out of the back and is just waiting. Meanwhile... first person who was waiting now goes back to the counter to complain about what is on their burger. Seems to be wrong/toppings and missing premium (aka paid) toppings. Foreshadowing number three.

Now I see more burgers come out of the back. Order taker is still taking world's slowest four burger order from family. I walk up. Order taker notices me and looks behind and complains to kitchen that they are not telling her when food is out. She then tries to just hand me my burger - which she identified by order number. No bag and I ordered a combo. I point all this out. She takes it back. Complains to kitchen again and combo is produced she bags it and hands it to me while apologizing. Then goes back to taking order.

All great I guess but i do wonder about that other guy. As far as I know his order is sitting on the counter still.

Well his order isn't... mine is. I guess. Because of course when I returned to work and pulled out the burger. Toppings are not even close to what I ordered. And by not close I mean.. I ordered mustard, mayo and grilled onions. I got mustard, mayo, ketchup, lettuce, pickles and tomato.. so... not close. and of course no grilled onions which is a premium topping I paid for.

Seriously. Not sure how you can jack up an experience more than these clowns did. Just ridiculous. The order woman seemed to almost be in charge and exasperated with the kitchen staff. May well be, but honestly if you know they are screwing up check the orders before giving to the customers maybe? The reality is in the time I was there, there was one set of annoyed customers and two other customers with screwed up orders. So that's a perfect 4 for 4 in the unsatisfied department. You're making burgers here... this isn't rocket science.

Will not return. Would...

The staff genuinely seemed to care about their customers' dining experience, and it made a world of difference. I must give a special mention to Rajni, who stood out with her exceptional professionalism. She went above and beyond to ensure that I had an enjoyable visit. She was attentive and her friendly demeanour and willingness to accommodate my requests made me feel like a valued customer.

The overall ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend visiting Hero Burgers for mouthwatering food with outstanding hospitality.
