I entered the store to pick up and pay for my order with 2 gift cards, $50 and $15 (newly purchased within minutes of going to the store). The cashier asked me to scan my gift card and then noticed that she put the wrong order on the screen so I paid $20 something dollars for someone elseās order. Then she got help from a colleague to attempt to deduct this amount I already paid from my actual order total. I scanned my $50 again and then the $15 and she said I was done. I asked for a balance receipt which she said they do not have that but gave me my itemized receipt, and so I did not have the balance but trusted that I had the remaining balance difference of $65 minus my order total on my $15 gift card.
Then on Dec 19, 2024 I make a Pizza Pizza order at a different location and try to use the remaining balance on my $15 gift card. To my shock, it was $0. I thought maybe the balance may be on my $50 gift card then. Also $0. Surprisingly this restaurant from Dec 19 was actually able to show me both balances of $0 and also provided me a copy of the balances.
So not only did the location at 3737 Major Mac overcharge me and completely empty my gift cards, they misinformed me that they do not provide the balance when I am literally writing this review with the balance papers from the location I visited today.
I called 416-967-11111 to ask to check the transactions of both my gift cards and the agent advised she did not have the capability to do this. I then asked to be transferred or given the store phone number for this location which she said that it doesnāt exist. I asked for a number to provide general complaints to or how I can escalate this since my gift card balance was stolen from me. She also said there is no such number and I must go to the restaurant that provided me this grief to begin with and that she thinks they can review transaction information of a given gift cards but isnāt sure. Itās curious that for all restaurants, they supposedly have no contact number to reach them at.
Unfortunately Iāll have to drive cities over just to come and ask for them to check my gift card transactions or check their cameras or database of which transaction went right before mine which will confirm that was paid for with my gift card.
Please give me my money back on my gift card. It was essentially stolen from this location given the overcharge and misinformed/untrained employee.
EDIT: resolved in late Dec 2024 through customer service. This location did in fact improperly and unethically empty my gift card....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey have changed their ovens to the conveyor belt style and it taste significantly better. The bottom wasnāt burnt so things have improved.
They are still not putting enough cheese and if you want the right amount it will cost extra. The top of the oven temp also seemed a bit to low so the cook was better then the last time I had it but still not the best pizza. I think itās worth being considered when you have a lot of people to feed or it late at night. Itās not my first choice but enough changes have happened for them to be back in the running.
I canāt say I would ever recommend a slice because I don't think they keep or follow timers on their slices. They will reheat it but if you get a slice to try to pick based on how fresh it looks and not completely on toppings. It been years it it seems like they have never changed their practices. I believe the slices get changes when they are sold or they close because they look that old. Itās shocking because I am sure York region health has rules about food being left out.
I would recommend ordering a full pizza. The wait times has been longer then what they say at the time you pay but that wasnāt the case in the past so maybe they are just working with less staff since covid.
Side dishes are a hit and miss and prices are reasonable. They are many pizza options in the area so what Iāll say it they location will give you great dips, good customer service, a large menu to choose from and good veggies options for your...

Even there is a location close to my house I go to this one I went to this location on December 24 I placed medium pizza with toppings of pineapple, olives, and half of the pizza chicken I paid $18.50 including my $1.00 tips. I went home and I let my kids to enjoy the pizza. My daughter likes olives and she tried them right away but she didnāt like them and she called me ādad the olives something wrongā and I tried itās like old or stale and I called customer service they told me to take to the store( even I asked them to do delivery Iāll pay the delivery cost he said NO and also was -27c on that day and my kids were hungry) and then I drove back to the location and showed it to them the pizza they were arguing with me .IT IS THE BLACK OLIVES and I told them this is my regular order and I knew how is black olives they were keep arguing and then I told them this is my last visit to this location I wonāt come back again so return my money unfortunately I didnāt take the receipt with me they said if you have receipts then they will return my money back i said I just placed the order and even you know Iām your regular customer so I wasted my money for nothing I gave them the pizza to enjoy and I ended up with my kids hungry NO APOLOGIES NO MONEY BACK Iām also working at the customer service and I know how we make a happy customer this service so really bad I wonāt go back to...
