Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Vaughan

I was very disappointed with my purchase of a two-piece snack a week ago, I asked for 2 piece meal, asking for chicken wings with my meal, as I don't like drums, they said they didn't have wings ready so I would have to wait like 7mins to prepare it, and a side breast as well. After waiting for over 10 minutes, my daughter, who was dropping me at the subway, went inside to inquire, and she then came out with the meal. I was on my way to work, so I never opened the box until I reached work. Lo and behold, the chicken wings was not cooked properly, neither the side breast, the garbage bin at work is what had the benefit of the food that I bought at Mary Browns. I had to throw it out. I knew from I opened the box something didn't look right. The chicken was white, instead of golden brown, and I was sick to my stomach. Very poor service I received that night. I guess because I went there later, the food wasn't as fresh and crispy as I usually get at other locations. The two ladies were very friendly and full of smiles. That was a plus. I asked for chunky taters and did get some. However, they were not crispy but somewhat drab. I will say that when it's done correctly, there is no better chicken place in Ontario. The size of the chicken compared to Gross KFC is amazing. Other than a small place in Markham called Krispy Kajun Chicken. They come very close if not better when it's hot. Being from Newfoundland, I always try and support Mary Brown's as much as possible. Placed an order through the app and my order was sent to this location as it normally goes to a different location closer to me. The manager called to verify my name and card number and said something about fraud going on in my area as to why for the call. Instead of telling she would have to cancel my order on the phone, she cancelled the order and when I called back according to her she was instructed to cancel orders from my area which would have been helpful if she had said that on the first call instead of verifying my Information. When I called again for when my refund would reflect they said Monday mind you the policy says 5-10 business day. Definitely unprofessional and need to learn the policy.
