This Mcdonalds is completely horrible, they have fallen so far off the mark of what McDonald's is SUPPOSED to be that I'm actually compelled to leave this review which I don't usually do. The food is insanely overpriced now for the quality (that applies to all locations obviously), and the service here is truly appalling. Fast food is nobody's first choice, it's supposed to be about convenience, and that's the LAST thing you will find these days. Over 5 terrible experiences now and I'm done, will never return. As many have noted the wait times are insanely long, whether you do drive thru OR walk in. At any time of day you can expect 10-15 minutes in drive thru. First you'll have trouble actually ordering though . Staff is incapable of listening so you'll repeat yourself often, and will constantly interrupt you to ask if you're done yet. Or even better they won't ask at all, like on our last visit. My husband asked for 10 nuggets and the girl replied "Okay first window"... My husband says uh I wasn't done ordering. Silence. She had turned off the speaker and started taking the order for the car next to us (this location has dual speakers) . We had to drive to the window to finish ordering. Told her TWICE we needed a sandwich with only ranch and cheese on it. Get to the next window and of course they tell us to park. I would say 9/10 times they tell you to park even if you only need ONE item. Then you get to sit and wait another 10 minutes before someone brings it out. So we wait, and of course, the order is wrong. It says only shredded lettuce on the sandwich... A word that nobody said while ordering. I'm angry and go inside, inform them the sandwich is wrong, that the order taker can NOT listen to save her life, that she turned off the speaker before we were done, etc. Nobody cares whatsoever . After 10 minutes I get handed the correct sandwich without a single word of apology. Ive also had items missing completely from drive thru orders, nothing like getting home and finding out you're missing a container of fries. Going inside is not much better . Your chances of receiving the correct food go up, but you'll still have to wait. 2pm I go there on a break from work, it's one of their less busy times. Only a handful of people in the lobby. STILL wait 15 minutes from time my receipt is printed till time I receive food. Seriously?! Everything I've mentioned here would have been totally unacceptable when I worked at a McDonald's as my first job almost 15 years ago. It's clear to me that they have stopped caring at all about customers and about their image. Now it's just corporate greed, suck everything we can out of people before we go under . McDonalds, you have lost my business forever and I know many many people are following suit .If I need convenient food it's faster AND more filling to run into a grocery store and grab something from their prepared...
Read moreI'm not a fan of McDonalds. But I go because its quick, cheap and easy. So after my doctors appointment I came here to grab some lunch before I go to physiotherapy. I have a hard time walking, especially after work. So I mobile ordered some food.
But the app wasnt working. I sat for 10 minutes being frustraited and doing everything I can to fix the problem. Eventually I gave up and went to cash and showed them the problem. Kirby was the cashier and did his best to help, but nothing worked. So I asked if there was anyone who could help me and he got one of the managers, Jenny.
Jenny is the sweetest thing! She worked with me to try to solve the problem with the app but it still didnt work. Though she did manage to get my order number pulled up on the cash register and allowed me to pay.
She gave me the table service number and made sure to bring me my food. When she did she made sure I had everything I needed (Like straws, ketchup, ect) and brought it. I have also seen her do this for other customers within the cafe too.
THEN. My order was wrong. Which is very unfortunate since I'm autistic and some foods I can't stand depending on how theyre consumed (such as onions). I went back up to the counter and told Kirby what happened, and be took my burger and got it fixed right away.
Jenny walked by noticing I had a problem and made sure to personally attend to it. She kept profusely apologizing which I assured is okay. Mistakes happen. And they did something to remedy the situation so that's all I could ask for.
I very much appreciate the help and service I recieved, and the help of the two team members who were patient with me.

However, I always end up regretting placing my order at the 300 Steeles Ave West location. I have had a frustrating experience with placing orders at the drive-thru of this particular branch. I have found myself waiting for an extended period of time in the parking lot and have never successfully received my order at the window. Interestingly, all the offices in this neighborhood seem to share a common experience of preferring to get their coffee or food from sources other than the ones nearby. During my last visit, I ordered a McFlurry, nuggets, and a junior chicken. The employee at the drive-thru instructed me to wait in the parking area for my order, as usual. However, when I arrived, numerous parked cars were already waiting for their food, and I ended up waiting for more than 10 minutes without any assistance. I decided to inquire about my order at the store and discovered that my order had been put on hold and ignored. The store was chaotic, with numerous customers complaining about their orders. I eventually spoke to the manager, Jade, who was unresponsive and indifferent to the customers' complaints. Despite my explanation of the ongoing issue at that specific branch, she was uninterested and unhelpful. I became increasingly frustrated and requested a full refund. Jade called another manager, Shayla, who was more accommodating but appeared too young and inexperienced to manage a busy branch.
