From the second you walk into this dungeon, you’ll not only notice how the staff look like slobs, they don’t wear hair nets and I witnessed one of the workers sweeping behind the counter and didn’t wash her hands before serving the customer. As if that wasn’t enough, they have a decommissioned refrigerator with crusty shelving inside that has mould growth. Their pastry section had cannoli’s sitting on dirty racks with caked on custard from what I assume, weeks prior. They stack the bread so high, it’s about 2 feet away from their dirty ceiling tiles. To that person who wrote the “most incompetent staff”, they’re wrong. Cosenza welcomed me with warmth and the customers before me we treated with the utmost hospitality. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, tidy and delightful. I expressed what I was looking for and they helped me with my choices and options. Every single item I selected was above and beyond my expectations (fresh, creamy and rich with flavor)! Amazing family owned bakery, been coming here forever. Their biscotti's taste and texture are very similar to something you'd pick up from Italy and are consistently good.
