During our visit to Pho99, we indulged in a variety of dishes to experience the full spectrum of their offerings. The chicken grilled rice combo, shrimp rolls, and vegetable stir-fry with tofu each offered unique flavors and textures.

Chicken Grilled Rice Combo: The combination of tender grilled chicken and fragrant rice was a delightful marriage of flavors. While satisfying, a slightly larger portion would have been welcomed.

Shrimp Rolls: Unfortunately, the shrimp rolls fell short with an imbalance in the ratio of shrimp to rice noodles and vegetables, leaving us craving more substance.

FISH SAUCE tastes 👍, it’s not diluted with vinaigrette and sugar. The PHO soup is not oily and is flavourful. Bonus, I wasn’t thirsty after returning home. The shape of the noodles complements the Pho and vermicelli.

Welcome to the neighbourhood. Pho Lan took over Pho Mi 99 and opened 2 months ago. This modern styled restaurant is bright, open and clean looking after the renovations. It’s located near Vaughan Mills mall. We originally wanted to go to Pho Mi 99, but was surprised to see it gone. We did the drive by to check the interior of the restaurant from the car. Then we got out and peered in and decided to give it a try.

Glad we dropped by. It will be my go to for Vietnamese cuisine when going to Vaughan Mills or Canada’s Wonderland.

They take cash, debit and credit card. When you are ready to leave, just walk to the front and say how you are paying your bill.

Hot tea or cold water is complimentary. Vietnamese music is played in the background from an overhead television. This eatery is big and can accommodate large groups of people.
