My visit to Sankalp at Vaughn was thoroughly disappointing, and I cannot recommend it. The issues began immediately with an extremely long wait time, which was only compounded by poor customer service throughout the meal.
The quality of the food was unacceptable. We found many items on the menu were not even available. The potato stuffing in the dosa we did receive was spoiled, and both the sambhar and the dosa were served cold, or barely warm at best. It gave the distinct impression of pre-frozen food simply being reheated and served. Furthermore, chutneys were provided in common containers passed from table to table, which is an unhygienic practice; they should be served individually.
The service was chaotic. There appeared to be no coordination between the staff taking orders and those serving the food, leading to confusion about which dishes belonged to which table.
Finally, the restaurant's layout is poorly designed for cold weather. The single main door opens directly into the dining area, repeatedly exposing seated customers to blasts of cold air. A double-door system is necessary to maintain a comfortable environment.
For serving spoiled, frozen food, they are charging high prices. It is definitely not worth the cost. Do not waste your time or money here. This was a very bad...
Read moreSankalp never disappoints - the best place to have north indian and south indian food. We had visited this location twice already and tried some of the items. They deserve "5 Stars" for food, services, hospitality, ambience, staff everything for dine in as well as uber eats out orders.
Our dine in experience was amazing. We just walked in for dinner on sunday and it was long waiting time. However, they managed to provide us a table in 15 m considering kids and old people with us. We ordred paneer handi (must try), paneer butter masala, Spinch cheese dosa ( must try) and some naan. All items were served piping hot and delicious in taste. Staff is very courteous, humble and always smiles on their face. No matter how busy the restaurant is.
They do follow the same kind of service for Uber eats order. We recently order food online for paneer bhurji (must try), paneer butter masala, naan, rotis and chaas (5 stars for Chaas). Rotis were not delivered with rest of the order. So I called them to check what went wrong. He figured it out that it was their mistake and apologized. He personally came and delivered the rotis at our place. Thank you very much Kunal Shah for this kind gesture.
PS : The wall paper( or painting) placed in the restaurant is very...
Read moreVisiting Sankalp Vaughan was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The ambiance was inviting, with a cozy yet elegant decor that immediately set the mood for a wonderful dining experience.
The food? Exceptional doesn't even begin to describe it. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors that transported us straight to the heart of India. Whether it was the aromatic biryanis, the rich curries, or the perfectly crispy dosas, every bite was a celebration of culinary expertise.
What truly sets Sankalp Vaughan apart, though, is their unparalleled customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout the meal. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about sharing their love for Indian cuisine with us.
In summary, Sankalp Vaughan is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. If you're looking for delicious food, outstanding service, and a memorable dining adventure, look no further. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...
