Normally I don't leave reviews, and frankly I'm usually indifferent to the level of service provided at a fast food restaurant, however I had a very negative experience and I wanted to share it. So, first of all, I went there with my two boys aged 7 and 12. Just after getting the staff to replace my burger which was very pink on the inside (which they did without hesitation so I'm fine with that), I went back to my table and my 7 year old son's chair flipped over from the bent leg sending him to the floor and his orange soda everywhere. It was very loud and all the staff saw this happen including the manager. Many of the customers in line asked if he was ok. NOT ONCE did a staff member come over to see if he was OK, or offer some paper towel to help him dry off or help clean the puddle of orange crush that he was in. I don't usually expect much, and I certainly don't have high expectations for customer service at a fast food chain, however, knowing that the entire staff saw this, and that it was serious enough for many patrons to ask if he was ok, would prompt some kind of response from the staff to check to see if he was ok, to offer some supplies to help us clean our table or dry his clothes. This left me feeling upset about the experience, so I went on their "contact us" page on their website where they boast about how they want to hear your feedback, I emailed them pretty much verbatim what I wrote here 2 weeks ago, and no one has gotten back to me. If anyone is wondering, my children were on their best behaviour, so this was not a factor in not receiving help from the staff. Anyways, this company doesn't care about their service, which is evident in their actions, and their follow up with complaints. They're very un-friendly, and its not a good place to bring your family. There are a lot of other options. Hold the places you shop at accountable for their service, if they cant provide any, or just seem like they don't give a $%*#, then take your business...

I had an incident on Saturday, July 19, when an employee told me I wasn’t allowed to sit in the store—even though I had only been there for about two minutes. I had sat down briefly to check my phone and gather myself when the employee approached me and said, “You can’t sit here; you have to leave.” I then spoke with the manager, who told me it was store policy and they had the right to ask me to leave.

During our conversation, the manager said, “You’re not buying anything, so you have to leave.” I explained that I hadn’t been sitting for long and that he had no way of knowing whether I intended to make a purchase. I also shared that I come to this store regularly, give them consistent business, and have never had any issues.

What made this situation especially frustrating is that today, I saw a white woman sitting in their establishment, and no one approached her or asked her to leave. This inconsistency made me feel singled out and led me to believe I may have been treated differently because of who I am. It felt discriminatory. I clarified to the manager that my issue wasn’t with the store’s policy, but with how I was treated—rudely and without considering customer service. Instead of acknowledging this concern, he responded, “I pay $50,000 rent to stay in this mall—it’s not McDonald’s, so you can’t just sit there.” Once again, I emphasized that the problem wasn’t the policy itself, but the unprofessional and dismissive manner in which it...

The Owner shouldn't allow their employees to Serve Customers OLD EXPIRE meat like that because you will Lost customers forever. Please don't come to this restaurant anymore they serve us Garbage doesn't guarantee they won't serve you. With $65 I rather to eat McDonald's than this kind of Burgers. Plus the waiter very Weird; Every single words he said "give me 1 second" I don't get it what kind of customers service skill you have to stand at the front end taking orders serving customers and asking us what do we want in our burger But every single words after asking us and then said "give me 1 second".????? 😀 Stop Scam customers by serving Garbage meat Please!!! Wait, what? How have I not known about this my whole life? I was wandering around Vaughan Mills the other day waiting for my new iPhone to be ready and wandered right into here. I ordered the southern fried chicken sandwich and was startled to find out that I could put any amount of up to 30 free toppings on my burger. Amazing! I went with extra mail, extra chipotle sauce, roasted red peppers, and caramelize onions. It was absolute heaven. I loved it so much that the next day I went back and ordered two more; one for me and one for my mom. This time I added guacamole, roasted red peppers and red onions to my southern fried chicken. It was just marvelous. I will need to go to the gym a few more times before returning, but that’s definitely incentive so I can enjoy more of South Street burgers amazing fare. The people who work there are also lovely and I had a nice little conversation with the lady in the back. Thank you so much South Street Burger and staff!!

Too many options, I got confused navigating the menu at first. The menu highlighted a set of burger options, combo choices, and make your own choice. I chose a vegetarian option to try. I waited, and a staff behind counter who got my order asked what I wanted in my burger. I assumed it was a pre-set burger, but apparently I had to choose my options. So, I asked for whatever's best (didn't want to hold up the queue behind) and simply took my order. So the experience was similar to subway, only the quantity of ingredients the staff put in was very little. I could see him count shredded lettuce leaves as he was putting 😂. Overall, my burger tasted okay, not the best. Also, the large fries we ordered were burnt and soggy. I paid 35$ for two burgers and fries. Anyway, highly recommend understanding your options better before ordering so you can enjoy your flavor combo.

Unfortunately, South Street Burger at Vaughan Mills has been flooded with a lot of questionable 5-star reviews recently, which feels misleading and disappointing. #FakeReviews The burger I tried was mediocre at best, and the chicken fillets and fries were tasteless and low quality. On the positive side, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly, but using fake reviews is like cheating. it suggests something is wrong with how this business is being run. I can’t recommend this fast food while there are so many other places around with great taste and dishes.
