Wonderful, wonderful customer service. I had ordered some jeans onlinr at AE and when they came, they all did not fit. I was super frustrated and did not want to come into a store or ship it back because it would take longer. So I went into this store and I went right to the cash and this awesome lady took care if me so well. She went through all my purchases and tried to refund it and when she encountered problems, she asked staff to help her to quickly resolve it. Then, she lookes over all of my purchases and took me over to the jean walls and tables to help me find a similar style/fit. She held all my clothes for me and even escorted me to the change room. She knocked on the change toom and asked if I needed different sizes, which she gladly went and got for me. She put all my old purchases away and led me to the front of the line. She was likeable and personable, and one of her collegues complimented me on my jean choice and chatted with me for a while as the new purchases were punched in. I kept one pair out of all them, and she offered me an amazing deal (because I had three pairs of jeans) that she would refund the ones I kept and ring them back in so I can get the buy 1 get 1 deal. I am extremely disappointed with AE's recent handling of their return policy change. As a loyal customer who has shopped with AE for years, I expected much better customer service and communication.

Recently, I purchased over $1,000 worth of clothing, believing the previous return policy was still in effect. AE decided to change their return policy without informing customers, and they are now refusing to honor their original policy for purchases made before the change. This is incredibly frustrating and unfair.

I reached out to their customer service team, expecting them to provide a reasonable solution such as store credit or an exchange. Instead, I was met with generic, unhelpful responses that completely ignored my concerns. Despite multiple attempts to explain that I purchased my items under the old policy, they refused to offer any compromise or support.

As someone who has always enjoyed shopping at AE and appreciated their previous customer service, this experience has left me extremely disappointed. It's disheartening to see a company disregard loyal customers in this way. I strongly encourage anyone shopping here to be aware of their questionable practices and lack of accountability. I will certainly think twice before spending my money...

I really liked aerie. Diane helped me soooo much since I had never purchased a bra before. Aerie clothes are so soft and fluffy. They had amazing buy one get one half off deal. Employees told me they rarely have this deal so I got sooo lucky. I bought some American clothes as well and was very impressed. There jeans were also buy one get one half off, can't believe it!! I think the boys names were Matt, one was in the fitting room and was so helpful. The other one was on cash and gave me the correct change back, so impressed since I had just come from old Navy who couldn't even get that right.
