Food: 4 Stars Service: 4 Stars Ambience: 4 Stars Value: 4 Stars Overall: 4 Stars

I've visited Cups on several occasions, mainly drawn by their delightful variety of bingsu. Each visit has been consistently enjoyable, and I find myself returning for their quality offerings. My favourite order by far is the mango bingsu. There's something about the way they prepare it that makes it stand out from similar desserts I've tried elsewhere. The mangoes are always incredibly fresh, juicy, and perfectly ripened, striking a great balance between sweetness and natural tartness. They manage to capture that elusive freshness that’s often missing in other places, where the fruit can sometimes taste overly ripe or artificial. Here, the mangoes complement the delicate shaved ice wonderfully, making it a refreshing and satisfying treat.

What also impresses me is the attention to detail in their takeout service. Despite the shop often being busy, my orders are prepared quickly without any compromise on quality. The portion sizes are generous, and they don't skimp on the toppings. Each takeout order has been packed with plenty of mango chunks and a satisfying amount of cheesecake bits, which add a lovely richness to the bingsu. It’s these little touches that elevate the experience, making every bite enjoyable. The cheesecake bits, in particular, provide a creamy contrast to the lightness of the ice, creating a harmonious blend of flavours and textures.

Although my experiences have been limited to takeout so far, I’m eager to try dining in someday with friends. The interior of Cups seems inviting and well-suited for a casual gathering. I’ve noticed the space is designed with comfort in mind, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy dessert in good company. I imagine the atmosphere would only enhance the overall experience, as enjoying a well-made bingsu in a cozy setting with friends would be the perfect way to unwind.

One thing that stands out to me about Cups is the consistency in both their product and service. Over multiple visits, I’ve come to appreciate their commitment to quality. Whether it’s the fresh ingredients or the efficient service, it’s clear that they pay attention to the details. This level of consistency is what keeps me coming back, and it’s why I feel confident recommending Cups to anyone looking for a quality bingsu experience.

In conclusion, Cups has become my go-to place for bingsu, particularly for the mango variety. The fresh and perfectly sweet mangoes, combined with the quick and efficient takeout service, make it a standout choice in the area. I’m looking forward to returning with friends and experiencing the dine-in option, which I’m sure will only add to the positive impressions I already have. If you’re in the mood for a refreshing and well-crafted dessert, I highly recommend giving Cups a try—you won’t be...

RUDE STAFF. Was at this location today for the 1st time. Our group ordered 3 cups of bingsu. The older staff with glasses asked “that’s it? “You are going to order more right? I was shocked by the attitude. We were going to order more because we didn’t know we ordered a small size but because of the attitude we decided not to buy any more. To be fair, The three cups are already $40 bucks. If we ordered a bigger size is only $2 more each. For $6 you gave us attitude? Even when I pick up the desserts she still ask us you going to order more? Not to mention the whole time you guys were looking at us and talking about us. We hear you. We will never ever come back again. Learn customer service. Learn respect. Learn not to talk about people in front of them when I just paid you money and sat only for 20 minutes. Two of you together have lived on this planet for more than a hundred years but still don’t know how to respect another human It’s time to learn how to run a business. Just look at all the other low ratings on how rude their stuff is. You will understand why I said what I said.

If you are so concerned about how much each person should spend, put it in your rules sheet that’s already on the wall.and pls DO NOT say it’s a miscommunication when you keep asking the customer “you will order...

The are supposedly known for their bingsu. It's merely ice cream with different toppings, put in an Instagram-able way. These days, anything looks good in a photo will get all the hype. We didn't bother order that and instead just have their lattes and mochas. We just want to sit down, relax, and chat.

The service is extremely slow. We waited for over 10 minutes before our drinks arrived. And they are not piping hot. They are only lukewarm, which is totally unacceptable.

The two staff there are not friendly and looked stressed and annoyed.

The ambience is terrible. The seats are so close to each other that you can hear every single word the others said. There is no privacy whatsoever. And all the patrons are talking, no, actuallty yelling, it's noisy and it sounds like inside a EDM concert. It's totally a horrific experience.

This is not a place you want to go and grab a drink or dessert to relax. This is a place for people who want...

Visited this location for the first time w/ my gf recently. Have been to 2 of their other locations (including the one that used to exist at FMP). As far as bingsu goes, it is definitely up there w/ the best I've had. They've got 3 sizes. Cup (smallest), small (actually shareable), large (you will get full LOL). I remember the mango bingsu being really good so we got that and an oreo bingsu (both in cup size to share). Aside from the longer than usual wait time for our buzzer to vibrate, the service was courteous. IIRC this store had the same amount of seating as the one on Glen Cameron (just a bit north on Yonge). The FMP store (when it was alive) had the most seats as it was a huge store. It has been awhile but I don't recall seeing croffles or cupcakes on the menu in the past but they have them now. They looked pretty tempting on the menu but had to go w/ the tried and true bingsu.

I recently tried out this awesome bingsu place, and let me tell you, it was delicious! The bingsu they served was top-notch, and the tiramisu we ordered was just the right amount of everything. It was perfect for sharing with friends or family. The staff there were really nice too, which is always a plus. And the ambiance of the place was great, though it was pretty busy since it was a Saturday. But you know what? It was totally worth it. The combination of the tasty bingsu, friendly staff, and pleasant atmosphere made it a fantastic experience. I can say for sure that I'll be going back to this bingsu place again. It's just one of those spots that hits the spot when you're craving something sweet and refreshing. If you're in the mood for some amazing bingsu, I highly recommend checking this place out. You won't be disappointed!
