Shops on Yonge — Local services in Markham

The mall is usual okay, we only go there to get groceries sometimes, we have been coming here for 4 years…. Today was our first bad experience, I bought some fruit and a couple drinks, sat on one of the many benches on the main floor before going back outside( it was a very hot day). The security guard at the front desk came up to us and asked if we were waiting for a taxi, I said no and then he said there was no eating inside the mall on the first floor, second floor only. He said he thought we were eating while waiting for a taxi and that was okay, but because we weren’t waiting for a taxi he said it wasn’t, and his manager doesn’t like people using the benches throughout the first floor for that. It’s so odd there are no signs that say you can’t eat or drink on the first floor… there’s also a convenience store that sells snacks and drinks on that level and it’s a Mall…not very family friendly if you have kids. I’m not surprised half the shops above the grocery...

This shopping center in the Iranian community is a real gem. The variety of shops available is amazing, from traditional Iranian products to modern electronics and everything in between. What's even better is the ample parking available. It can be frustrating to circle around in search of a parking spot but that won't be an issue here. The parking lot was well-lit and felt safe, making me feel secure while shopping. I visited a few stores and found such unique products that I would never have thought to look for online. Overall, the shopping center's range of shops and convenience of parking make it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to explore the Iranian community's culture or find some hidden gems...

Loving the Filipino food products that they sell here that you could not find anywhere else. Anyways, those people at the meat section are kind of rude to their customers. It's either they're going to put the meat in front of you without saying a word, and even sometimes they'll argue. And if you're picky they'll just ignore you. Their service is not consistent as well. Some days they'll do the cutting for your meat, most of the times they don't.

Anyway those cashiers are doing well. They're respectful and courteous. They even help us bag our groceries.
