Hot Bread Shoppe — Restaurant in Vernon

A wee gem of a bakery in the heart of downtown Vernon with a lovely assortments of bread and cakes. The interior decor was tasteful and modern with well thought out pieces. I wanted to try every baked good upon entry. The place smelled delicious with fresh bread and hints of cinnamon. I purchased a cheese roll, bread pudding and a load of the cinnamon bread. Went to VJH for an appointment earlier of the day from out of town. After lunch, I thought I'd visit a nearby bakery before heading home, and Hot Bread Shoppe was only 2 min away. However, Google Map kept taking me to the 29 Ave, which was super confusing. And there were no street signs at the intersection of 31 St and 29 Ave either, so I was really lost. What a truly fantastic experience! A wonderful selection of superb baked goods made by people who are so evidently passionate about the ingredients they use and the quality they deliver. My first time in the shop this morning and I had the chocolate croissant. This is the best chocolate croissant I have ever had, and each other item in the store looked just as good.
