On Top of my list of one of the worst food I have ever tasted…..Update gave them another chance after one and a half year, but it’s still disappointing. Tried four dishes, and all four were terrible couldn’t even rank them because they’re all equally awful. Don’t even deserve a one star rating. I’ve attached a picture of the bill for the Channa Samosa and Tikki Channa I ordered to clarify the situation. I can also provide receipt from my last visit too. I don’t have the time or interest to try different establishments just for the sake of leaving reviews. Instead of spending time defending your restaurant with replies that don’t address the core issue, I suggest focusing on improving the quality of the food you serve. Take customer feedback seriously, acknowledge areas that need improvement, and work with your team to elevate the taste and overall quality of your dishes. If you’re unable to take feedback and improve, then perhaps this is not the right profession for you. At first, you denied the food in the picture was from your restaurant, but after I showed you the receipt, you had no further comment about the food shown. As I mentioned earlier, you're not addressing the core issue. Instead of focusing on the quality of the food you're serving, you're more concerned with defending yourself and accusing the reviewer. I can't continue this argument, this is my final response, because common sense is like a flower, and I can't expect it to grow in everyone’s garden.

This little unassuming place I’ve come to a handful of times for lunch has been a great newer option for N. Indian food in Vernon. The lunch special is affordable and includes a lot (rice, naan, salad, and a generous helping of curry). My favourite dish so far here has been the shahi paneer. It’s a nutty creamy gravy with homemade cottage cheese with yummy mild spices including cardamom and some raisins (I normally hate raisins but they are great in here). I have also ordered a vindaloo before and liked the tangy gravy. The lamb masala was nice with a chunky and slightly creamy gravy. Finally I also liked the chaat papri with the pomegranate grains sprinkled on top—refreshing, served cold, with crunchy wafers (almost looks like deep fried pieces of samosa wrap?), potato, chick peas, tamarind and mint chutneys on top. I would say that the salad served with the lunch is a bit of a boring stock salad with some creamy sauce that seems a bit out of place in an Indian restaurant, but it’s still nice to have a bit of contrast to cooked veggies with fresh crunchy salad. Don’t let the quietness or the red carpet and non-decor deter you from giving this place a go.

Don’t recommend and not happy at all with this restaurants quality or service. We’ve ordered a second time to give them another chance but it’s not worth the time or money. Chicken pakoras were stale and chewy because they mixed old ones with fresh ones the butter chicken didn’t taste anything like last time- there’s no consistency and the chicken karahi had cream and mixed vegetables that weren’t even listed in the menu description, meat dishes barley have meat and the pieces are tiny. The naan was scorched on the back side and had rocks that went into our mouth as we ate. When we brought this up the owner Sushant just laughed. They don’t care and the staff is busy talking amongst themselves and don’t even check up while dining to see if we were happy or wanted anything else - no refills on the water.

I ordered Pav Bhaji and Aloo Tikki Burger I said no noodles. My food was 40 minutes late. When I got my food was cold and my burger has noodles. This happened twice when I received my food cold and late. When I called to the restaurant and asked her she was oh kitchen messed up. I told her my food was cold. Also mentioned her there are green peppers I won’t be eating my burgers because of green 🫑 peppers.( allergic to green pepper) And they were so spicy. She didn’t even said sorry. Worst service and food. Thank for ruining my evening.

I don’t have personal beef with your employees. The reason I called you to let you know the concerns and complains I have about food, and her behaviour that shows how your paid customers getting treated in your restaurant. I wasn’t going to mention your employees name but now I am going to. Her name is I ordered Pav Bhaji and Aloo Tikki Burger no noodles. My food was 40 minutes late. I wasn’t going to mention her name but now I will. Her name is Manjot. Customers If you complain but the service or anything, she will badmouth you outside the work to others. Once we where there to dine in she was having lunch with her friends where she stood up and walked to counter and picked up jalebi from tray ( they sell from that tray ) and start eating while standing there. That was my first complaint. I brought to their attention I came out and called I never said front of other Customers.

Ps:- dear customers if you have issues and you let them know . Manjot will gossip to other people out side the work. And when you bring to the concerns to the owners attention you will get a following message what...

Very disappointed we got 4 thali from them paid over 80 dollars for food they give rice without spoon . The guy Navjeet when asked that there is no spoon and how to eat was so rude that we need to make special request for napkin and spoon . He started misbehaving and said do what you want to do .i work in Coustomer based service industry but the way he behaved is ridiculous unfriendly and beyond acceptance . The staff is a quite rood not refer to anybody in fucture

It was your staff who was rude and learn how to deal politely. They can say sorry and we will take care in fucture . Instead they threatened me that we don’t care do what you want to do . And second thing if you follow Canadian law and care about that plastic waste . You can still put a note on food counter that please ask for cutlery and napkins. Instead of telling people that you care about law not the Coustomer discomfort. Or show them how you can eat food without spoon and that we are Indians so don’t believe in napkins instead wash your hand but what if we don’t have water on can use sand or you have some other options.

Well done can’t accept anything more from you . Don’t tell your staff that they can offer these basic things and let Coustomer decide .

But you support them to misbehave and threaten good on your...
