Such a fun place with tasty food in a fabulous outdoor setting! We had a fantastic waitress who was charming and friendly and helped create a wonderful experience. We visited on a sunny Saturday afternoon. There are multiple terraces with counters and stools, plus tables. There are a few seats inside and more tables at the top by the beer bar and out front by the street. The setting is quiet, since it's set back from the street on a large lot. It looks like fun from the moment you arrive. We tried local beers based on our waitresses' recommendations. She told us they were best known for the Birria, so we tried a Beef Birria Burrito Bowl on dressed mixed greens and the Chicken Lime Birria Burrito. They were both good, but the Chicken was OUTSTANDING. The Birria sauce / au jus / juice was unbelievably tasty without being salty. It would make a fantastic chicken broth for a Chicken Tortilla Soup on cold days. A fantastic place. While it wasn't the highest rated Mexican food in the area, we wanted to try it because of the fantastic outdoor dining area. I'd rate it higher than the 4.4 rating it gets and highly recommend it to others.

Food, excellent- not authentic, but flavorful - had the ground chorizo burrito Aestheticly pleasing to the eye So loud! I gave it a 3 because of the service, who ever sat us and our server, just no personality- hey how are ya? Thanks for coming in? Have you guys ever been here before? Give me something to work with I asked how the breakfast burrito was - it has egg and potatoes in it, most ppl don't order it for dinner. Okay great I'll have the special than... we've sold out. Okay. (Do you have a recommendation then?) Just seemed like he didn't want to be there and that we were inconveniencing him. (No worries, you don't have to work for your tip.) - it just seemed like we were inconveniencing him Food runner, quite pleasant. Would go back for the 🌯 though

A great little place to stop by for brunch. They do have a small indoors area, but we always like a good patio and this one is covered against the elements and is dog friendly. It is on a relatively busy street but it is set back a bit so there is no noticeable street noise. Great food selection, with healthy options, and usually at least one craft beer offering from one of our more favorite breweries. It can be busy so try coming slightly off the main rush hours to stand a better chance of getting a spot. Staff are friendly and as prompt, but it is a small establishment so expect some minor delays (fixable with beer) when they are full.

Service was AWFUL. Our server (who I don’t know their name because they never provided it) was next to useless. Our food came out relatively quickly which was nice, and it tasted ok. One of the drinks at our table was spilt, and several employees were nearby and did NOTHING, except for our server who said “oh no”, and walked away. Many minutes later she walked by again and said nothing while grabbing the empty glass. I thought maybe someone would help clean up the spill or at least offer to get us a new drink. It took another long while before we were able to flag her down and ask for a replacement drink, and even longer for us to try to ask for our bill. When our bills came, we were being charged for both the spilt drink and the replacement. Coming from someone that also works in a restaurant, this should not have been the case. When I asked if that could be taken off, she looked confused and acted as if I had just ordered another drink for myself. We only wanted the drink because the other one spilt. She just kept say that “we don’t really do that, you spilt the drink so we don’t do that.” I understand the reasoning, but thats not how that works and the drink should’ve been replaced because that is the appropriate response and right way to treat a guest. Eventually she offered us a discount instead and I reluctantly accepted. When she returned with the new bill, the discount was a whopping $1.80 off of $107. I was dumbfounded to see this abysmal discount. Overall, our server was terrible and was useless when we needed help trying to solve our issue. I will not be going back, and I will recommend people to stay far away from this place. There are much better options in Victoria that will have better food, drinks,...

I finally made it here, and was super thrilled. First off: everyone who worked there was so super nice (ie service was exceptional). We travelled with a 4yo and 2 octogenarians, so we weren’t the “easiest” diners. I loved the tent and the heaters in the winter. We kept our coats on, but I was warm (I usually am very cold). It was a wind storm night, so I can’t even imagine how warm it would be without the occasional draft. The food was awesome. Nicely labelled as vegan or “can be modified to be vegan”. We had the vegan queso dip and I was licking the bowl. It had just the right amount of heat without it feeling “spicy”. The chips were so tasty (my kid ate them and guacamole). The vegan buns were toasted bao-like buns. Again, excellent. Also, eating out is usually really expensive these days, but I was really happy at the price, especially considering the quality. Downsides are not many. More like “to note”: as in many restaurants, it is a little noisy (very friendly atmosphere). This only matters if you have lost your voice (me) or had a hard time hearing (octogenarians). Also, I don’t think there are any seats with backs (bench or stool seating). Just to consider.

Thank-you for a super tasty and friendly place to eat. I will be...
