Burger Crush might surely grow into our new favourite burger joint in town! They have the best vegan/vegetarian burger in the city. We ordered the vegan cheeseburger, regular fries, and some of their vegan tofu nuggets. Oh my goodness, it was all so amazing. It's really difficult to believe that the vegan cheeseburger is entirely vegan; it consists of a house-made vegan patty, topped with vegan cheese on a vegan bun. It is excellent and has every flavour, texture, and taste imaginable. Burger crush is literally crushing it, and are clearly skilled at what they do. My Favourite sauce is the hot crush. The vegan nuggets had incredible flavour and were crispy, crunchy, and scrumptious! The host was cordial and provided great service. Not to mention, the music they played was amazing. Nice aesthetics, as well. I strongly recommend this trendy burger joint!

LOOKING FOR A BURGER THAT LOOKS AND TASTES AS GOOD AS THE COMMERCIALS? 🍔🤤 Burger Crush has a cute diner vibe with a simple menu - cheeseburgers. I ordered the vegan burger and it was delicious. Some vegan burgers make me feel like I’m missing something, but this burger did a really good job of satisfying my burger needs. The patty is housemade, had some nice crunch and ingredients felt fresh. My partner got the normal cheeseburger and really enjoyed it as well. This is the definition of how simple is good. The burger is a good size and it’s just under $30 for 2 people, which is pretty reasonable. It also doesn’t leave you feeling sluggish or greasy like how some fast food places leave me feeling. Overall, I’d definitely reccomended checking this place out if you’re strolling Victoria and craving a burger!

We no longer live in Victoria and we miss Burger Crush every day! Genuinely think the veggie style burger is the best we have ever had. The patty doesn't have an overwhelming veggie taste to it the way that a chickpea or black bean burger usually does, but it doesn't taste exactly like meat (which is a bit off-putting to us vegetarians). It's crispy and flavorful and goes perfectly with the Crush Fries. There's a few tables in/outside the restaurant, but it also holds up well with delivery. Street parking can be tough but you can usually find something. Highly recommend!

We were interested in comparing the vegan options from Odd Burger vs Burger Crush. Overall from Burger Crush, we found better taste, texture and less soggy than Odd Burger. Customer service is better and more personable at burger crush.. but there is room for error.. We ordered vegan shakes, tofu nuggets, 1x classic vegan cheeseburger then 2 kids burgers. We assumed the kids burgers would be vegan as well as but we did not specify.. obviously the default is a meat patty at this establishment. Short of a small marking on the wrapper, there is no obvious way to distinguish vegan vs. meat. After my daughter failed to eat her burger because she didn’t like the taste (she normally loves the burger having eaten in Van many times before), I took a bight, noticed it tasted odd.. confirmed with gentleman at the till that it was a meat patty. Mistakes happen and as parents we felt pretty awful this happened.

This is our mistake for not double checking our order. Generally, we check before and after we order that everything is vegan.

In an establishment where there are options, it may be helpful to have staff prompted to question if the entire order is...

Alas, I had high hopes given all the raving internet reviews, but this was a pretty disappointing experience. The chap at the counter seemed friendly enough, but the long wait produced a cold and soggy cheeseburger containing a wafer thin patty (like, see-through), no cheese to be seen, and way too much of their sauce that was just... Flavourless beige liquid. The fries were brown and cold, and the vegan root beer milkshake I decided to splurge on was.. okay. It sort of tasted like a 10 dollar can of coconut milk with a couple drops of syrup mixed in. Anywho, with an after tip cost of nearly 30 dollars, and a meal only half finished, I'm afraid I have to consider it a waste of both time and money, and can't recommend it. I hope your mileage varies though :)

Side rant: I know it's seemingly the cultural norm in North America to be expected to tip for something, even though you have yet to taste or even see your food, but it just adds insult to injury when I'm asked to pay more for a product and a service that I haven't received, only to find it...

My girlfriend and I went to the burger crush in Colwood, by save on foods and the minute we walked in, all you could hear was very loud music. It was not a friendly welcome feeling. It was very dirty, The staff do not wear gloves ,hairnets or aprons and they were touching all the food with their bare hands. The meat patties were paper thin and undercooked. Talking about cross contamination or what. The burgers were more toppings than burger, and very messy. Not once did we see anybody come out with a clean wet rag to wipe tables and chairs down when someone left. There was food on the floor that nobody picked up. The cashier was very rude and impolite to us. She was a mouthpiece and a half. She started to mouth off to my girlfriend, caused she asked her to ask the staff to wear gloves. We will never go there again. The price for a single cheese burger, out of this world. For that price, I thought we were getting fries also. But apparently not. Those are extra. I would hate to see what their washroom...
