Pho Chin, Bo Vien #22 Brisket and meatball ($12.25 plus tax/tip regular size). Glad I ordered the regular size! Large servings, fast service and good comfort food. You can come in for a fast bite if not the busy lunch time period. Even so, there food service is fast. I've never had a bad dining experience here though staff can be brusque; understandable given the number of tables in a quite small restaurant. Located half way between Douglas and Blanshard Streets on the north side of Fort Street in downtown #VictoriaBC, the Pho Vy is 1/2 block from the Bay Centre and easy walking distance from the Inner Harbour hotels and attractions. The major BC Transit stop at Douglas and Fort Streets is 1/2 a block away. Give the Pho Vy a try!

Hands down my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in the city! I have been to many, but I enjoyed all aspects during my time. All the soups are good options- you can’t go wrong with the pho. I have been to this place a few times and liked their vermicelli bowls too! Definitely some of the best compared to others. The family that owns the restaurant are from Vietnam and are extremely friendly. Felt like home and a the service was great. Would recommend anyone to check it out! - What we ordered: 22. Pho chin, bo vien: brisket and meatballs. Always a great choice. 16. Bun bo hue: spicy noodle soup with meat, noodles, lemon grass and spicy. Good option if you want to try other soups other than pho.

Staff are always so friendly and fast, the environment and food make me always feel like I'm at home. My favourite restaurant, and the one and only place I always HIGHLY recommend to people, especially those who are wanting to try something new. Another perk is that most of their noodles are rice based, so they are friendly towards those who are gluten free. Always delicious, I recommend #18, because then you can try all the different types of meat, and see what you like. Just a heads up, the regular sizes late large, and the large sizes are huge, so definitely enough food for any appetite! Definitely is deserved of the title of "Best Phó in Victoria"

We were excited to try this pho place after seeing the good reviews. We like to try pho in every city we visit. Like many, this is a no frill basic eatery. We were seated quickly and the staff were friendly. The food took a long time to come. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm were cooled after tasting the beef noodle. The broth is mediocre lacks flavor (less even than store bought carton of pho broth), nor was the mouth feel of the noodle as good as expected. There were enough noodle and meat but too little soup. The rice dish came in a tiny plate. There is no need for more food but it is hard to eat when the food is in constant danger of falling off, let alone that there is no visual appeal to the dish. We ordered some extra green for the pho. As mentioned in another review, the vegetable were overcooked. For the few pieces of extra and some extra broth, we were charged over $10 on top of the $15.50 bowl of beef pho. Extra items should be charged but that is excessive. The place is probably doing so well that there is no need to care about how the food looks or about prudent price point for...

I’ve been eating at Pho Vy for more than 16 years and have found it to be consistently the best Vietnamese restaurant in Victoria bar none and I’ve tried them all. The food is always hot, the meat is always very tender (other restaurants not so much) and the flavors are wonderful, most soup dishes come with a big plate of fresh veggies (sprouts, jalapeños, cilantro and basil) . The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and your food is served quickly, yet very fresh. If visiting during the week between 11:30 -2:00 make sure to give yourself extra time as there will probably be a line to get in. No other restaurant in victoria can compare. Sadly, I’ve moved to another province now and am missing my “more spicy” Bun Bo Hue, terribly. Pho Vy will be my first stop when I visit Victoria next. Thanks for everything...

Been going here for about 6 months and it was great but recent visits have been 😞. I usually get take out. On the last 3 visits the food is not as good. Too much grisel pieces with the chicken order and the rice was super mushy.

In addition the last 2 visits I said I would wait outside for the order. I waited ... waited ... only to peek through the window seeing my bag sitting on the table and no one brought it out to me. The restaurant was not that busy. So I go to the order desk and ask if that bag is mine and two staff gave me a blank look and started talking to the chef. I assumed it was my bag by looking inside and opening the container. Sure enough it was. I couldn't believe how indifferent they...
