Had such a great experience today at Morning People!
We ordered a sausage party, which was messy in all the best ways- fried egg with runny yolk, shreds of sharp cheddar dropping like confetti, and an unruly tangle of greens that the bun barely contained. Sausage, house ketchup, garlic aioli, tomato, and caramelized onions rounded out a really solid and delicious breakfast sandwich which I would happily order again!
We also had loaded smashed browns with added sausage (the sausage is really really good)- they came in a big box and easily fed two people. The crispy edges on the potatoes were a highlight.
While we were finishing up, we were surprised with a taster of the bomb dia açaí bowl which was legit with really good granola, strawberry, banana, and hemp hearts. I noticed that they also have hot sauce (or salsa?) for sale and some cookies from Hidden Gem around the corner. The guy working was super helpful too....
Read moreI was excited to try out "Morning People", a food truck that I had been seeing every day on my way to work. I browsed the menu and ended up ordering the Clubbish Sandwich for $17, despite it being a little expensive. I was willing to pay the extra bucks if the sandwich tasted as good as people claimed. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed when the sandwich arrived with burnt ciabatta bread and, worst of all, a bone inside! Initially, I thought it was just a one-time thing, but to my surprise, the entire sandwich was filled with bones. I decided to contact the number listed on their Google page to inform them about my order, but to my surprise, the number was out of service. I expected a better experience for the high price I paid. As a working individual, $17 is a significant amount of money, and after this experience, I am hesitant to give them...
Read moreDecent food but very expensive. "The best dream" sandwich is affordable at $9, but is much better with some sauteed mushrooms - which are a $3 add on (could maybe just include it with your sandwich or charge like $.75). Service is sometimes friendly, sometimes rude. Last time I ordered in advance by phone, and when I approached the truck I saw my order sitting out on the counter. I was firmly told to stay back (COVID reasons) while another customer took several minutes to decide on their order. Finally I was allowed to get my order which had been sitting out on a cold steel counter top on a wintery day for over 5 minutes. Mmmm cold eggs (eye roll). Like I said, decent food. But if you're gonna pay $30-$40 for breakfast for two with coffee, go to a local diner, lots around. Heron Rock is particularly good, and it's warm,...
