Went to a whole bunch of coffee shops in Victoria and this was by far my favorite one. The interior is great, lots of wood and gives off a nice cozy feeling for a place to study, hangout, or just enjoy a nice coffee. it's in a great location as well and parking is fairly easy to find. The barista was really helpful in helping me decide what to get (I was also a barista previously so I enjoy learning about other coffeeshops) and helped me pick out a good coffee. I got a lavendar latte with a bag of chai tea in it as well. I usually like to experiment so I was glad they were able to do this for me. Not going to lie it tasted more like a butter chicken latte lol - but it was still great! Also got the carrot cake because why not and tasted really good, although I believe it was just above $4. My girlfriend got a vanilla latte with latte art and it was also delicious. am for sure going back when I can.

Nestled amidst the popularity of Tim Hortons and Starbucks in Canada, I stumbled upon Moka House Coffee on Cook Street. Its name, meaning "chance" in Hindi, invites curiosity, and a visit here is indeed a chance worth taking, especially for their delectable samosas. Moka offers a variety of chai flavors; I opted for the caramel ginger, a delightful choice. The ambiance at Moka Coffee blends elements of Victoria's British colonial tea shops with a hint of modern Starbucks vibes. The cozy setting features small tables, perfect for young patrons engrossed in their laptops. Additionally, they offer seating options outside, which I'm sure will be bustling with people during the summer months, on this beautiful street. Overall, Moka Coffee is a charming spot that stands out amidst the coffee giants. If you appreciate a cozy atmosphere and flavorful beverages, Moka is definitely worth a visit.

Normally, I wouldn't critique a coffee house so harshly, however the service and experience here is subpar at the most. The Coffee House was quite busy, however totally normal for cafe. It was nice to be able to sit with our dogs on the patio. However when it came time to order, the barista forgot one of my drinks. We ordered two spinach pastries, and a chocolate pastry and asked all to be heated. She forgot to heat the chocolate pastry, when I reminded her she heated it for two minutes, making it inedible. The coffee with milk was filled to the absolute top and spilled everywhere outside. The remaining hot chocolate, Americano drink and spinach pastry were nothing to write home about. I'd recommend skipping this place.

Rustic, quaint, lovable: don't miss a relaxing stop at this coffee shop in the heart of Victoria! You don't need to be retired to be served here, but it does seem to be the beloved go-to place for many friendly, chatty retirees. Dogs are welcome and there is a water bowl for them; the patio is covered so you can enjoy the street's buzz even when (the long awaited) rain finally comes down. Their oatmilk latte is big and fluffy, the ice cream sandwich a delicious snack (home made cookies!). Plus, I can't recall a more charming young bartender: witty, sparkling, clearly loving his job. We're coming back!

Whatever your hot beverage cravings are, I'm sure Moka House Coffee can deliver. Don't let the name fool ya. In addition to coffee, they also serve hot chocolate, tea, pastries, e. t.c. Their ample indoor and outdoor seating combined with the fact that they're located in a cute neighborhood make this an ideal spot for a meet-up/date. Plus they're open till 8!!! I searched high and low for a coffee house that's open "late" and I'm glad I finally found this spot. One noteworthy thing about Moka House Coffee: The 5-stars is for their carrot cake. It was simply delicious.

Next level coffee place. Honestly, perfect. The location is amazing. The choice of food and coffee is impressive and delicious. The service is extra, I mean... I dropped my coffee. Went inside to grab something to clean and one member of the team came and not only clean for me but brought me a new coffee. What does it mean? It means that they are focused on you having an amazing and relaxed time. Also dog friendly patio. 》close your eyes and go there you won t regret it.
