This might be the best pizza I have ever had. I had the funghi supremo but no oil replacing with a tomato base. Hubby had the pepperoni and garlic where the pepperoni is house made. Mine was absolutely amazing, the mushrooms perfectly cooked and had good chew to them, tomato sauce was nice and tangy, and the pizza was topped in just a nice amount of cheese. Hubby said the pepperoni was very flavorful and enjoyed fresh tomato sauce. He says this was as good as any other Neapolitan he’s had but I think this may actually be the best pizza I’ve ever had.

We started with the roasted vegetables topped in ricotta. Perfectly done veg, just the right amount of crunch. The choice of roasted veg was great not the standard potato and carrot type. We think it was radish, beets, turnip and broccolini then topped in a ricotta and red pepper flakes.

Service was good. They were accommodating in switching out the oil base for tomato base on my pizza but everything is cooked in oil which is disappointing.

The restaurant was packed which is always a good sign.

Our meal total was $50 for 1 appy and 2 pizza. Seems on par with a meal out in Victoria.

You should go here. Go early to avoid waiting.

Very pleasant atmosphere, quiet, relaxed, good vibes on that front. We were there midday on a weekday, so it was pretty quiet, and the turnaround on the food was very efficient.

For the food, the pizza crust was excellent, the red sauce was flavorful, the cheese was good, the flavor combination of the pizza we selected was good, but the execution was just a bit lacking in terms of the toppings cooked on versus topped fresh.

The "focaccia" is the reason for three stars instead of four. Their take on this item is just plain wrong. They basically made a pizza, topped it with a tiny bit of oil and cheese, cut it in half, served half to us, then wasted the other half. We asked what they did with the other half as we watched this whole process, and were told "if someone else orders one within 30 minutes, well use that, otherwise, staff might snack on it or we just throw it out."

It feels like they are one step away from being great, if they get all the pieces together and sharpen up the execution and...

This neighbourhood pizzeria is a welcome change from the typical franchise style pizza joints. I have eaten here a few times and have had great food every time. The pizzas are awesome made with fresh locally-sourced ingredients and an authentic 'Neapolitan style' thin crust baked in a wood-fire oven.

Although I'd prefer my thin crust a bit more crispy, the pizza Margherita is off the hook and a nice thin crust pizza not drowned in cheese is hard to come by in this part of the world. Expect at least a half hour wait for a table but do eat in as once it steams in its cardboard box it can become lackluster. The service is good and staff are always pleasant.

These guys take their pizza making seriously, they were given designation by Vera Pizza Napoletana, meeting the strict requirements that respect the tradition of the art of Neapolitan pizza making.

If you want to experience your pizza being made right in front if you I'd recommend sitting at the bar.

Update: Bring back...
