This might be the best pizza I have ever had. I had the funghi supremo but no oil replacing with a tomato base. Hubby had the pepperoni and garlic where the pepperoni is house made. Mine was absolutely amazing, the mushrooms perfectly cooked and had good chew to them, tomato sauce was nice and tangy, and the pizza was topped in just a nice amount of cheese. Hubby said the pepperoni was very flavorful and enjoyed fresh tomato sauce. He says this was as good as any other Neapolitan he’s had but I think this may actually be the best pizza I’ve ever had. We started with the roasted vegetables topped in ricotta. Perfectly done veg, just the right amount of crunch. The choice of roasted veg was great not the standard potato and carrot type. We think it was radish, beets, turnip and broccolini then topped in a ricotta and red pepper flakes. Service was good. They were accommodating in switching out the oil base for tomato base on my pizza but everything is cooked in oil which is disappointing. The restaurant was packed which is always a good sign. Our meal total was $50 for 1 appy and 2 pizza. Seems on par with a meal out in Victoria. You should go here. Go early to avoid waiting. !!!Eat all the pizza!!!!

One of the Worst Pizzas I’ve Ever Had Today, I made the mistake of trying Pizzeria Prime for the first time because of the raving reviews(4.6 with 1000 plus reviews .. how can you go wrong ? ). Big mistake. We ordered two Margherita pizzas, and what we got was absolutely unacceptable. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. The bottom was burnt to a crisp while the top was practically raw. How do you even manage to mess it up that badly? I don’t know if they were having a bad day, but there’s no excuse for serving something like this. I’m honestly shocked that this place has good reviews. This was a complete waste of time and money, and I will definitely NOT return ! 60 dollars down the drain

My family recently dined here, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The pizzas are thin-crust masterpieces, baked to perfection in a wood-fired oven. Each bite offers a delightful crispness and a smoky flavor that you can only get from a genuine fire. The toppings were fresh and generously applied, making every slice burst with flavor. We tried house marinated mixed olives, Carne pizza and Panna e pancetta pizza, tiramisu and gelato for desert. The staff were friendly, attentive, and eager to make sure we had everything we needed. If you're a fan of thin-crust pizza with a distinctive fire-kissed taste and top-notch service, this place is highly recommended to visit.

I first discovered Prima Strada in 2010. It was my first experience with a Napolitana style pizza. Needless to say I was wowed, not only by the pizza, which was superb, but also by the dessert - A tiramisu to make a holy pilgrimage for. Returned in 2012 with some European guests and it was every bit as good as two years previous. Back again this year - the pizza is still super excellent, the wine (suggested by our waiter) was sublime. The tiramisu was a different recipe and I was assured that it is as good as the other. Sadly, my appetite wasn't up to dessert this time and I was loathe to lose my fond memory of the earlier pastry. Aplace to be revisited any time you are in town.

Nothing but good things to say about Prima Strada on Cook St! First visit in the books and the pizza, cocktails and service did not disappoint. Once upon a time, when we travelled to far away places, we would judge a pizza place by simply their margherita pizza. If you can nail the marg pizza, you're doing it right and that pizza oven meant business. Negroni sbagliato - yum. Negroni - even better. Moving along... we ordered the FUNghi supreme and it was perfection. I may or may not be eating the leftover piece this morning as I write this..... Thank you Kayla for your service and please don't judge the writing of my review as you are the master of words. See you soon PPS!

It’s a hidden gem! The wood-fired pizzas here are truly authentic and unbeatable. The crust is perfectly thin and pillowy, the sauce is packed with flavour, and the chewy texture is simply lovely. If you're craving a delicious and mouthwatering pizza, look no further… We ordered the Margherita, and the Funghi Supremo pizza. Both pizzas were tasty and excellent! Having experienced pizzas in Italy for a whole month, we can confidently say the pizza is the real deal. 🍕Honestly, there’s no need to search elsewhere, Victoria's best Neapolitan Style pizza spot is right here! We are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend! 💯👌
