March 2024 (photos): Had a great experience. The service was quick. I have no doubt that I will come back again. Highly recommend. The best Thai food in Victoria. Hidden Gem. Prices and Portions reasonable. Really enjoyed the curry and the pad Thai which did NOT taste like ketchup close to authentic in Victoria search no more. November 2024 (video): spring rolls delicious and packed with ingredients, crispy deep fried chicken skin was very light and flavorful, masaman curry duck had richness of the coconut milk that was not over powering the spice or decadence of the duck richly falvored, and the star of the meal for me was their deep fried cod sautéed in three flavored sauce which tasted slightly sweet, lightly tangy, a hint of spice but very aromatic (chef was superb contrasting the flavors which could be tasted in every bite). Note: it has been my fifth visit and must say that I enjoy the changes or additions to menu each time I came so I can try new authentic creations. Definitely worth the wait for the food chef prepares herself in this cozy mom and pop shop that has warm hospitality always.

What a beautiful place set in a little cute area of town in Victoria. After purposefully getting lost in locating a little place for dinner, I was pleasantly greeted by a very professional and polite and welcoming young man. I was happy to hear him welcome me and when I asked for take out he politely handed me I menu and took my order. After I sat he professionally offered me some water and even poured it for me which shows the etiquette of serving tables as being very impressive. I was delighted and felt at home immediately as I waited for my food. Upon returning home and opening my food I was eager to taste the flavors for I had asked for as spicy as possible. As I enjoyed my food I realize that this was a wonderful meal that had rich flavors, spiced and the right amount of temperature in spice as well as temperature of food. I would recommend this place and would only caution that though it is a small establishment it is huge in flavor and good quality food. My compliments to the chef.

What you can get for paying over $70/2 ppl: 1. More than one hour waiting time. Server didn’t give us a heads up when we walking into the restaurant. Apparently they only got one chef and a bunch of takeout order 2. A dining space full of frying oil smoke and ordors. No divider between cooking area and dining area, not to mention the noises from range hood. So you basically eat in a restaurant kitchen. And don’t forget you need to inhale those harmful smoke for more than one hour because you still waiting for food 3. Overpriced items on the menu. I don’t understand why the owner charged such high prices for this dining experience

Run by a family, I recently came here with a friend who highly recommended the restaurant. When we came for lunch, we were served by the daughter of the owners, who cooked for us and served us, she was the sole employee for the entire lunch rush, which got progressively more busy as it went on. She was sweet, knowledgeable and very prompt with her service. After trying each one of the three dishes our party ordered, everything was great. Lunch came with a soup and spring roll, both delicious and piping hot, and the lunch portion was perfect. If you want something on the spicier side, definitely go for their “hot” level of spice as the dishes seem to cater to a Western palate, and the medium level of spice for both my partner and I wasn’t very spicy. Otherwise, the food was consistently delicious, and I would definitely come back to eat here again or just stop by for takeout. If you want an independent restaurant with authentic taste, this is a...
