Been a while since I’ve been to Peacock Billiards but since my son was visiting from out of town we decided to go grab a bite and shoot some pool. We’ve both been there many times over the years and always enjoyed the atmosphere. This time we decided to grab a bite at the cafe. The menu has some tempting selections but we were both craving a poutine so we chose a pair of their Speciality Fries. We had the smoked chicken poutine and the shepherds pie poutine and both were delicious. The lamb and the gravy in the shepherds pie poutine were especially delicious. We were both surprised with just how good the food was and we would both go there again to enjoy more delicious meals before playing pool.

This is a great place for both casual pool players & the pros. Call ahead to customize your fun by reserving your tables (or other games) in advance. Service is great - staff are very accommodating! My small group of friends meet on Monday & Thursday evening to play 8-ball for a few hours and we always have fun. Stop by to check it out because we are always looking for new people to play. Great skills are nice to have but a good attitude is more important. 🙂 Regardless, check out the place; you will not be disappointed. D.

Rant to the female waitress working Peacocks Billiards tonight. Went into it to enjoy a less hectic atmosphere and enjoy food with friends. I have specific dietary needs that is very simply dealt with. I order food and am told that my first order may not fit into my specific requirements, so I order it anyway since she makes a note of an allergy. Okay, that's awesome so far! Thanks, girl. I go out for fresh air. Food hasn't come back yet, and there's someone from our group inside watching the table anyway. Come back inside to wait ~30min more for food. Fine, okay it's a busy Saturday. Then everyone's food comes and I'm told, only then after about 40min since ordering, that my initial request doesn't suit my dietary requirements. Ohhhkkkkay... Why was I not told sooner? Fine, I ordered some wings instead that should have been fine and safe from a good reaction. My food eventually comes. I dig in because I'm pretty hungry at this point. I'm eating my wings and our hostess walks by, misting her cloth with cleaning solution, and it gets on my food. Twice. I keep trying to flag her down and she very blatantly ignores our table. We try to pay because at this point I'm completely done with this place. My food allergies were ignored when I was told the request was absolutely able to be filled- no iffs, ands, or butts. So now because of it am now I'm agonizing pain. Food allergies are no joke! Had I known I was risking it, I'd have never ordered. My food was ruined, and our entire party was disrespected. Cut to paying. Another member of my party tells one of the men at the front of what had happened, he's completely absentmindedly saying, "oh really? Uh-huh, okay." As if in disbelief one of the staff was capable of unprofessional behavior. After her, it's my time to pay. Zero apologies from him, not even broaching the subject as if he had completely ignored a statement that may have resulted in an allergic reaction far worse than mine.

Yes that's a wall of text but I'm so upset, and am violently ill. Welp, $14 to potentially spend the night in hospital. Well done, peacocks....

When I was 20 years old my friend and I were quite drunk and acting very stupid, we ran out on our hour of pool & 1 pitcher of beer. The only time I have ever ran out on a tab.. extremely stupid of us. 2 of the staff saw us walking home and started yelling profanities at us, we couldn’t even see straight, I remember apologizing and saying I would come to pay our tab when I wasn’t inebriated. They had pulled a U turn and got out of their cars and put their hands on us. A couple of weeks later I build up the courage and swallowed my pride and went in to pay my tab. The staff were extremely pissed at me (rightfully so) I paid my tab and tipped 100$ saying I would never do that again. They barred me for life.. the past 10 years I’m now 31 occasionally I’ll try and go in, the same staff works there and kick me out every time. I have spoken to the assistant manager and head manager and they still won’t hear me out, they won’t even tell me what they think I did that was so bad that would get me barred for 10+ years. I went in last year and was extremely patient and respectful and asked the manager for the head managers email. I sent him a long letter explaining the situation and all he said back was “after talking with the staff we have come to the decision to keep the ban” he also told me that I was extremely rude when I came in and asked for him email. There’s two staff there that have worked there for 10+ years that hold the hugest grudge over me and don’t even have the decency to tell me what I did or said to make them hate me so much. It’s been 10 years of once a year occasionally going in there with some friends/to meet friends, being told to leave, and walking out quietly.. I think I deserve to at least know what they think I did. People make mistakes, but people also forgive. I’ve had dreams of opening another pool hall across...

The first time I went here I loved it. But here's the thing, last night we went there and were told sit anywhere youre comfortable, great so we sit and shortly after our waitress walks by and says "will be right with you" then she goes to a different table were she talks to them for about 10 min talking not work related. So we sit there waiting to be served. She left their table and still took about 6/7 minutes to get to us. So then when she does finally gets to us my friends order their drinks, and she gives us a food menu. And some good amount of time goes by and we have questions about the menu and are wanting to order another drink and she goes to the other table again to just chat. So now I'm getting annoyed waiting forever. She finally comes over explains the menu and the boys order another drink and 1 thing of wings. We also put our name down for pool. So the food also takes forever but usually thats fine minus, our server is gone again and again a drink is done. I spent a good 10 min trying to find our server and when I would finally spot her she would be laughing and chatting somewhere.

Needless to say we seen her at our table a total of maybe 4 times including to pay, we were there for so long with no good service. I did not tip. Our bill was 14 dollars as it was only two drinks. And my friends was a little more because he got food. She was very pepy and happy sounding but I was disappointed. As a server she needs to be around more, asking if we want more drinks, how was the food etc. Also she didn't bring the food out a different lady did and when we tried to get a drink from her she said "please ask your server she has your tabs" which I mean fair but also she needs to be around...
