Update as of July 2024: Employees are still horribly rude, but the coffee is still good.

This is probably the nicest coffee shop in Victoria. They take their coffee very seriously and it shows. I've always sung its praises on my social media, but they need to step up their customer service. Last time I went, the employee was crouched behind the counter on his phone for several minutes before someone alerted him that there was a customer. Then I encouraged my husband to go and try it recently and he didn't receive good service. The employee did not explain the menu or coffee options, even when it was clear my husband didn't understand how their menu works. (It's unique and either requires prior experience or a helpful employee on the first visit.) They also ignored his request for cream. This coffee spot is truly a magical little place! It’s a bit tucked away and seems unassuming from the outside but it is so beautiful on the inside! Everyone is incredibly friendly and kind, and OH MY GOSH can these baristas make good coffee! We are picky coffee drinkers to say the least and were mightily impressed. If you’re looking for proper coffee, this is your place in Victoria, 100%. We watched one of the baristas perform a perfect pour, finishing the cappuccino with a swan design in the foam, all while having an engaged and smiling conversation with a customer! Certainly put a big smile on our faces and we loved the coffee, the ambiance and the general vibe here. We were only in Victoria for two days, and luckily found this place on our first day- and came right back for coffees the next morning.
