Harvey's — Restaurant in Wasaga Beach

Ehab the owner wont pay to train people in this location because he says they quit too fast, this is why food sometimes cold and takes a long time getting out. I was training to be supervisor and put in 30 hours of online training hours which he was supposed to pay me for which i did not get and in turn was supposes to train the underlinks... when he robbed me for my 30 hours of online training and the continuous not rotating food properly fifo....i had to leave because some of the things really did gross me out. Example the garnish should be dated when made but it is not and when the containers get half way down instead of taking container out putting new one in the put new one on top of old one and now the bottom container is outdated contaminating the new garnish.. no whimis training in this location either.. dont blame the poor staff blame shana the general manager because she is fully aware that the owner is doing this and she is the one who is responsible to male ehab the owner do what is required legally and she doesnt.. yes the taps spray at ppl along with the bathrooms never get cleaned bc there are supposed to ve a certain number of staff for each station but shana understaffs so ehab can have more money.. what this means is these ppl are doing slave labor.. each person is actually doing the jobs of three ppl not one.. i guess this is what ehab is...

Came in on Wednesday July 18th at 8:30pm. Place is clean, but some staff are ignorant and absolutely unprofessional. I haven't been to Harvey's in years and after today I definitely didn't miss anything. My son got some minor garnish and asked for his one pickle on the side instead of having it on his burger. One elder female staff with glasses decided to pinpoint us and loudly tell us how Harvey's is changing the rules and they wont do this anymore....WT€! I don't ever swear, but wow. On top of that our grilled chicken burger was burned (black), conveniently the black side was on the bottom. When my wife returned it, they refused to make a new one or give back refund. She didn't even take a bite. They finally made a fresh one with so much hatred! Dogs wouldn't even eat that black burned poultry. The joke is we came in friendly, but quickly got picked on. Harvey's, congratulations on hiring TRASH. Keep up the great work, the only decent employee with any manners was a young gentleman, wish I knew his name. Great kid, he saw and understood how the other staff were full of b.s. Food was Horrible, staff full of hatred and...

I was a certified Harvey's fanatic. I haven't lived anywhere near one for almost 30 years. So Everytime I come back to Ontario it's a go-to place. I had my first fix in a few years at Wasaga Harvey's and it was just disappointing. The meat was smaller and dry, fries had no seasoning and the memorable Harvey's flavour was just gone. The floor we waited in line on was sticky too. After I ate i had a flashback to the last time I ate Harvey's and i suddenly remembered it was the same deal. Harvey's used to make a hamburger a beautiful thing. Now they just make a hamburger.it really was like when your memories tell you your college girlfriend was perfct and then you meet her 30 years later in the grocery store and shej ust can't live up to your idealized version of her. Harvey's, I'm completely over you now. I can finally move on and enjoy all the better burgers out there without comparing them to an idealized version of you that never really existed anywhere else outside of my mind....
