10/10 would recommend. This is one of the most balanced menus I have ever witnessed. A little taste of everything in my opinion. The vegan options are incredible too, even though I got the brisket. The service at the front end could have been a little better. It took about a minute for either of the two to say hello so first impression wasn't the best. Our waiter hit a home run though, very knowledgable, kind, and patient. As a past brewery owner having all the options for beer was a little overwhelming for me so I asked her if she could just pick a paddle for me and she nailed it. Started off with a Jelly King Rasbperry/Blackberry then I had my paddle. We had sweet potato fries with a really unique dip that had a touch of cinnamon and pumpkin spice so it really added to the October theme. My wife ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, and I ordered the BT Brisket Platter. The Pad Thai was very balanced, and very friendly, good use of sweet, sour, and cilantro. Nothing over powering in taste. However I'm more of an authentic Pad Thai from Phuckett kinda guy but it wasn't for me as I need that spicy sourness. My wife loved it so kudos to the chefs because she really only likes my home made pad thai. The Briskett was smoked perfectly, pulled apart very easily, a little fatty but rendered very well. They gave me BBQ sauce for it which tasted sweet, spicy, and a touch of smoke, even though I didn't use it I tried it as I'm a foodie. The baked beans were baked beans they didn't 'wow'. The coleslaw was ON POINT. Anyone thinks they can do a coleslaw and I disagree. It was natural taste with a hint of sauce, perfectly crisp and not sitting in a bucket for hours, so fresh fresh fresh with a hint of pepper. Very clean envoirment including the bathrooms, and very friendly staff all over! After the person left they immediately cleaned and was very glad to see they even cleaned their outside dining area immediately as well. 8/10 First Imression 10/10 waitress and service 9/10 for food - brisket could have had less fat but it was rendered nicely. Chicken in the Pad Thai was a wee bit dry. 10/10 on beer menu.

We got a reservation for 9, and there was no automatic tip! We got an $18.99 warm spinach artichoke pot to share, and they brought a second one that we didn't order and said it was free, then took it away because it was actually for a different table. Other than that, the service was quite good. I had the $21.99 brisket burger, which was delicious. I liked the texture the chips added, though I would've liked a bit more bbq flavour. The $23.99 ultimate mac 'n cheese was very cheesy but not very creamy. It was a bit too rich, and we would've liked some more tomatoes. Overall, would return again for another group dinner! Update [02/04/2024]: We went as a group of 10 and got two spinach dips on the house, which everyone enjoyed. 3 of us wanted the BT Brisket Platter, but unfortunately, they only had 2 left. The platter was great, but if I got it again, I would swap out the potato salad. One of my friends liked the mac 'n cheese. Unfortunately, another friend's steak sandwich was quite raw, and he didn't like the alioli. The service was outstanding though! Overall rating remains the same due to complaints about the food.

Beertown in Kitchner is a real winner. They have options for everyone including an excellent Gluten free menu. The restaurant is big, clean and has a great patio in the downtown core. Definitely a lively restaurant. Staff are professional and kind. They are attentive and check up on you. Front staff are also good as are the food deliverers. We found everyone great to deal with. Food is why you’re here. Portions are large. The brisket nachos are big and that’s just the regular size. They give you a nice amount of salsa and sour cream. The burgers are also good. The chicken wings which are gluten free are right on the money. The mahogany sauce is the way to go. Fries are also gluten free. They have house made ketchup which is very good. The fish tacos are definitely the star and well worth it with a Caesar salad. Overall we enjoyed our food. If you are in the area give it a go. Although it’s a chain, this chain is done very well. I wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

Beertown is always reliable as a good experience. I can count on having a flight of beers I've never had before with the rotating taps, the food is consistent, and the service is good. Our party of 3 had meat eaters and a vegan, drinkers and non drinkers, and there were no compromises to make given the solid menu. I loved the tiny tuna tacos - one of my top 3 items on this menu for sure! They are labelled "tiny" but packed with tuna - delicious! For my main I had the hot chicken sandwich with the beer cheese soup on the side. The chicken on the sandwich was cooked well and the spice and sauce were nice. The size of the piece of chicken was small compared to other great chicken sandwiches in Waterloo. There was far too much bun given the size of the piece of chicken. The beer cheese soup was great as usual. I finished off with a spiked root beer float, which was great given the Nickel Brook root beer. I'd have it without the alcohol next time. I'll be back!

We had a great time here. We came to Beertown Public House to celebrate three birthdays. The service was just outstanding! There was no kids meal, but we ordered the mac'n'cheese for the kids to share. Most restaurants would just bring the dish and an extra side dish, not this place. They actually split the dish into two bowls for each of the kids. It's little touches like this where you see that they care about the customer experience. We had ordered some of their tortillas and dip. When we finished the tortillas, there was still a lot of dip left so they came around with a second serving of tortillas. I ordered the southern fried chicken, which was just absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this place to anyone whose in town. Note that if you drink the typical Bud Light, Molson, Labatt,... feel free to order your water as usual!! This place has a huge selection of local and no-so-local microbrews.

Honestly this place is 10 out of 10!!! Firstly it's huge. They have free parking and more than one location. I accidentally made reservations at the Guelph location but this location was very accommodating and fit us in regardless. Our main incentive for trying this place was the Gluten Friendly food choices, well let me tell you, they have an entire Gluten Free menu!!! Its absolutely AMAZING!! My daughter was so beyond happy that for the first time she could actually have French fries.... although they cannot guarantee anything is gluten free due to potential cross contamination, my daughter did not get sick. Also all of their desserts are Gluten Free (friendly). We all loved our food and felt great. Server was so kind and knowledgeable also. Honestly I'm so happy to have found this GEM!! We will definitely be returning many times!!
