I mean this Second Cup is filthy & rundown. They don’t really have any local competition nearby, so I believe the owner Gus, thinks he can run a shoddy Second Cuo with no concern. The lounge chairs are peeling and have no support in them, when you sit, you sink so low, I’m not sure how a senior gets out of them. The fireplace no longer works & the staff now tell clients it is display only. The store is so cold, left the other day and my nose was frozen. There is dust around the shop and I never see staff wiping anything down, not tables, nothing. And let’s not start on the washroom - vile. I go in to wash my hands & it’s just horrible. Regulars to the shop apparently signed a petition to get the shop cleaned up & renovated and Gus told them NO. The first day i ordered a sesame seed bagel toasted with butter, got to work and realized they had given me one that was not toasted and had cream cheese on it. Drove back to get the correct one. (Which i shouldn’t have to). Today i got the same bagel but it is rock hard that you cannot even break it or bite into it. (Not sure how they didnt notice it when they were putting butter on it) I wanted to attach a video but it wont let me. Not sure how you mess up a pretty simple order when there are no other cars in the drive thru. Seems like they didnt even cook the bagel properly to begin with. Customers are paying money to get these items. It is ridiculous that you cannot get a simple order right. I shouldnt have to come back every time to get my correct order. Would give zero...
Read moreOrdered 3 Italian sodas for myself, wife and daughter and once we had driven away realized none of them had any carbonation. We decided to go back through the drive-thru and a different kid told us that the machine was broken and he could give me a refund a few minutes later he came back with cash but I had payed debit so I asked if I could get it rufunded on my card. The manager then came over and told us that we had to give all the drinks back to get a refund so reluctantly I did, the Asian lady who I assume was the manager was extremely rude and demanding. The kid who we had originally ordered from knew that the machine wasn’t working in the first place and he decided not to say anything initially only to tell the other kid that we dealt with the second time around.
