I had a very bad experience. I called before coming in as this was a drive for me if I could pick out two cakes and have them written on for two couples engagement parties. When I called at first the manager Lisa was a bit rude over the phone but I didnât think into it as i am not in person and able to make that judgement. I come in and pick the cakes out. I pay separately for each cake and write what I needed on it. I told the manager Lisa that itâs for two engagement parties. I informed them that someone else would pick the cakes up. Next day comes and cakes are picked up. Actually one cake was received and one was missing. The person picking the cake up called to confirm there was one cake or two? After confirming there was two she goes back in saying sheâs missing a cake. They took a bit to look for it and then I get another call. The cakes were not written out properly. One cake was supposed to say âItâs a good dayâ with bride and groomâs names. The other simply said âhappy engagementâ (bride and groom) with the color red to match the cherries. I think the pictures will say a lot for itself. I call and leave a message the next day and receive no call backs. I called them back and was told to call back the next day after that because no one could help me. I speak to Lisa the manager and she argues with me that the cakes were written out perfectly as I wanted. She continued to argue at the fact that no cakes were lost and the cakes were written out as I wanted. Until I told her I have pictures and two upset brides along with that. She then believed me and told me to send pictures to her number. She took a while to reply back offering me a one free cake for an engagement party that consisted of two cakes bought and a party thatâs passed already, so Iâm not sure what I am gonna do with another cake? I told her over the phone I wanted a refund thatâs why I sent her pictures to her number. Then she goes on to offer me a free cake. Then on text messages i tell her again I wanted a refund, so she said I need to contact customer service. When I contacted them they apologized and offered a refund, just until I send my receipts.    Read moreThe service here is a hit or miss but there is one particular worker that makes every trip here very unwelcoming. She seems to always be working here, white short girl and always with a ponytail. She looks like shes probably in her early 20âs. Anyways, every time we visit here and see her, i just know the service is going to be awful. Not welcoming at all, not very friendly and she looks like she absolutely hates working hereâ i mean at least fake it and donât take it out on the customers. There is also one worker that goes above and beyond and i always make sure he gets tipped, he seems to be a highschooler, black kid and always welcomes us with a smile- and when thereâs extra ice cream left over he always makes sure to give us the extra! The girl on the other hand, one time did wayy too much ice cream scoop and just trashed the rest instead of giving it to us, talk about waste!!! And it is NOT the first time. Why do you have to be so stingy about the left over ice cream, i mean you always scoop way too much so you might as well give the rest to the customer instead of throwing it out to the side and wasting this branchâs money on how much ice cream you trash (i would not be complaining about this if it was only one time but it is ALL THE TIME).    Read moreWent to Marble Slab for the first time today with a group of friendsâthere were about eight of us. Walking in, I could already tell the girls working were busy and rushing. When we went up to order, we had three girls helping us. One of them was okay, but the one with the ponytail and long nose/face was giving us the biggest attitude ever. Mind you, it was clearly our first time there, and we were with friends who had never been to Marble Slab before, so we were a bit all over the place trying to get everyoneâs order right. We finally got our orders in, but some of us started changing whether we wanted a cup or cone. When I told the dirty blonde girl about changing one of the orders, she glared at me and said, âIâm not the one serving you.â Like, how was I supposed to know that when all three of them were asking me about our orders at the same time? At first, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubtâmaybe it was just her tone or facial expressionâbut I could tell she had a nasty attitude. The other two girls were totally fine and had no problem helping us out when we made changes. After we ordered, we all left, but I went back in to grab a spoon.
