The Two workers at the restaurant who helped me was 2 Female Indian lady’s they need to learn Customer service and food hygiene. And try and speak louder and not just point at stuff
Dear Manager,
I am writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to your restaurant. I have been a loyal customer for the past three years and have always enjoyed my experience—until now.
During my visit today, I attempted to redeem an offer from the app using a QR code. Unfortunately, your store's scanner was not picking it up. I suggested taking a screenshot or placing an online order to make the process easier. However, the staff’s immediate response was, "I can’t give you free stuff," which I found dismissive and unprofessional.
Additionally, the staff began speaking in another language (which I believe was Hindi or Punjabi) and were laughing while looking in my direction. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. Whether intentional or not, it came across as inappropriate and not in line with the welcoming, inclusive environment I’ve come to expect in Canadian hospitality.
To add to my concerns, I noticed that the kitchen area appeared to be unclean, and staff members were on their phones in plain view while there were no customers around. This lack of professionalism is concerning, especially in a food service setting.
I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously. I believe in supporting local businesses and would like to continue visiting your establishment, but I hope steps are taken to ensure all customers are treated with respect and that cleanliness and professionalism are maintained at all times.

Read moreToday I visited the Subway restaurant at Park Royal food court and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The staff was incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful, which made me feel unwelcome. When it came to adding toppings to my sandwich, they were very stingy and seemed reluctant to add anything extra.
To make matters worse, when I requested a plastic bag to take the half of my sandwich home, I was met with a grumpy man who told me that they don't have bags there. I couldn't believe it! How do they prepare takeout orders? Do they just hand sandwiches to customers without any bags?
Overall, my experience at this Subway restaurant was terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I certainly won't be returning...
Read moreOne last great at her job was gonna do what i asked but another lady took over halfway through and wasn’t doing what i asked. The first lady was kind and considerate but the other lady was very very rude and ignorant. I told her customer satisfaction came first and she didn’t care. I yelled at her because her actions were not kind. The manager offered to make me a new sandwich but i didn’t want to waste food. Well i was paying she swore at me in her own language which is very rude. And that tipped me off way more. Do not go to this restaurant at park royal if this lady was working.
