Fat Bastard Burrito Co. — Restaurant in Whitby

Pertaining to order #6b48fa9d. We have had issues with this store in the past, we’ve had hair and hard plastic in our food on two separate occasions but we thought after a number of months we would give it another shot - big mistake. We placed our order online, drove out of our way to pick it up, bring it all the way back home, set up to eat our dinner to learn everything we had gotten was not what we ordered. I then phone the store approximately 10 times with no answer. So we packed it up, drove all the way back, and requested both be made again. (I had confirmed that was was printed on the receipt was exactly what we had ordered, the employee had just made it incorrectly. Upon receiving the second order I made sure to check if it was made right before leaving a second time, and I’m glad that I did - it was made incorrectly a second time. We had no special requests, just the order written on the printed out receipt… simple enough to follow. Upon receiving our oder correctly after the 3rd attempt I requested a refund because of the gross inconvenience of not only how our night had been throw a rye, but the added time, money, and liability spent to drive to this store and back. I was told they could not refund it, and because it was ordered online, albeit through your website, it would have to be rectified through them… I then asked for an email for the store owner, as when I had hair in my food and plastic on two seperate occasions I had emailed the store directly to rectify the issue as the employees in the store are beyond unhelpful, and argumentative. It apparently has gotten even worse as they do not have an email to provide. I very very rarely write any messages like this, but I have been beyond frustrated by my experience at Fat Bastard’s that I’m trying to find anybody that can help - as the employees in store wanted nothing but to shop me away for addressing their mistakes. This has been the worst experience I have ever had at this establishment, and I will never...

I did not appreciate being argued with over guacamole, after being made to pay for my burrito first, and then being told that they charge extra for guac on a veggie burrito in which they took a butter knife and spread a tiny amount of guac on. Apparently "guac is expensive" (like a paying customer needs to hear of your financial woes) and "Mucho Burrito charges extra for guac too!". LOL Just to set the record straight, I have an unhealthy addiction to Mucho Burrito's veggie burritos (at least once a week) and I NEVER pay for extra guac because they put an ICE CREAM SCOOP on top of the veggie burritos, NO CHARGE. I also lived beside Chipotle in Toronto for many years and that was the same case when I would frequent there for with veggie bowls and burritos. I should also mention that the girl at the front counter needed to be hung upside down to see a smile come out of her. Although they offer a good burrito, this left a sour taste in my mouth and I will not go back. Sad...I was really excited to check this place out and become...

I'll start by saying this review is a bit far removed, and I hope things have changed since then. But, everytime I've ever gone to this location I had a bad experience. I went three times, and every single time it took at least 25 minutes to get my singular burrito. Even when I was first in line, it took 25 minutes. I'm still unsure why it took so terribly long, but it looked as if everyone was fighting with the cash register to get it to work. It got really awkward when the entire staff came to rangle with the machine as a line began to grow and grow behind me. I felt bad, it made me feel like I was holding up the line. I don't blame the staff too much though, and I bet nobody working then works nowadays. Anyways, when I finally got my burrito it was just kinda mid. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I've had better burritos on a college campus, and in a quarter of the time too. Overall, if you've never been, give it a shot, maybe things have changed and you'll be served a good burrito in a reasonable time frame....
