DO NOT EAT HERE!! I went in to get a sandwich and first thing I noticed was there was a hair sitting on top of the cheese. When I pointed it out the lady making my sandwich didn't even react (like this was a normal occurrence), just took the top cheese off the pile and threw it in the garbage, didn't change gloves or wash her hands. (I should've just left at this point but I'm not very confrontational and felt bad she had already started making the sub.) When I got home and opened my sub, there was another hair stuck to the sticker that holds the wrapping on the sub, as well as another one inside.
I was disgusted at this point and called subway, they said they would make me a new sandwich but I had to bring my old sandwich back. I had to ask multiple times to get a refund since I didn't want another hairy sandwich and eventually they agreed. When I showed up the girl at the counter clearly hadn't been informed by management and tried to refund me 10$ in loonies, claiming they had no bills on hand. (When I said I wasn't taking 10 loonies she did in fact pull out a bill.) I got no apology for the inconvenience of having unsanitary food or having to drive all the way back, as well as treated like IM stealing a sandwich? (News flash! I don't want your hairy sandwich! I promise I'm not scamming you out of another sandwich and to treat a customer like that is insane.)
When I contacted the owner of this location he gave me a half arsed apology, basically saying "I'm sorry that YOU feel that way".

Read moreI just bought a baked chicken foot long for my daughters to eat for dinner. My youngest daughter was so excited to eat. Both my daughters love Subway btw. When they were trying to eat they couldn’t bite into it. The bread was rock hard, even I would have had trouble eating it. So I had no choice but to drive back to the store in -10c weather.
The person working at the store made a new sandwich when I told them the problem. Everything up to this point was good customer service. Just before leaving I asked her what she could offer me for my troubles as I had to to drive back to the store. She said she couldn’t offer anything. I asked if the least she could do was offer me a free chocolate milk. To which she replied she couldn’t, saying she wasn’t authorized to do so and pointed above at the the camera. During our interaction another customer butted into our convo not knowing the full details of the situation (why can’t people mind their own business) saying some stupid stuff that I shouldn’t be asking for anything for free and that if I did get something for free he should also. A heated discussion between us ensued.
To end the story, she ended up giving me the free chocolate milk to diffuse the tension. Why did it have to take getting into a verbal interaction with another customer for it to happen? Why did she have to lie by saying she wasn’t authorized? The whole situation could have been totally avoided if she just obliged my request for a free chocolate milk in the first place. Whole incident ruined my night and my Subway customer experience. All for a $2.50...
Read moreI recently had a very disappointing experience at this Subway location. Before I even placed my order, the employee assumed I only eat halal food based on my appearance, which is incorrect. She kept saying, “We don’t have halal here,” in an impolite tone, even though my look doesn’t reveal anything about my dietary preferences.
When I ordered chicken, she insisted on giving me tuna instead, repeatedly emphasizing the lack of halal options, even though I never asked about it. I tried to explain that I regularly eat here and know what I can order, but she continued to make unnecessary assumptions.
To make matters worse, she didn’t grill my wrap properly. I was so frustrated by her attitude and the overall experience that I didn’t even feel like asking her to fix it.
This behavior was completely unprofessional and disappointing, especially because I’ve enjoyed eating here in the past. I hope the staff receives proper training to avoid making assumptions about customers and to treat everyone...
