Angels Ice Cream — Restaurant in White Rock

The owners are rude. Need better customer service. You run a gelato shop if you are so worried about plastic cups and spoons - get wooden sticks/spoons for tasting and just serve in cones. If you are worried about your excess gelato melting then maybe you need to expand your freezer section in the front. But the most adjustment needs to be in your attitude. Was better when it was run by the youth. Take a vacation. Lighten up. Its only gelato. No need to be so disrespectful to your customers and cry over a plastic cup... smh. I would give this place a 0 if i could. There are many nicer gelato places down the strip such as OCEAN ROCK CAFE... which is where i went to... Beware when you are ordering ice cream at this shop. Somehow two one (they were small) scoop cones ($6.00/ea) and a child's cone ($1.71) turned into a $22.00+ bill. When I requested an itemized reciept I was told I couldn't get one. I asked how she got to this total, and I was told the small Waffle cones were extra. Somehow this turned into $6 extra dollars??? She said they were homemade lol. They were not. So when you order a cone, you're paying just for the ice cream, then, from what I was charged, another $3 dollars for a small waffle cone (not the nice large ones you see in other shops that are actually homeade). Honestly I will never return here. The elderly male seemed more concerned about the money. He accidentally bumped/ touched the icecream against a hard surface and never said anything because he thought I didn’t notice. What made me feel uncomfortable he told me to pick a tip selection and he held the icecream waiting until my payment went through like I was going to take off with it. While I was paying he was holding onto my icecream with icecream visibly melting. No napkin provided with the melting icecream. No accessible napkins in plain view. The cup was sticky.
