My wife and I decided to stop in to Tony’s the other night for some appies and wine. This experience was by far one of the best we have had in Whitehorse in a long time. The young lady that was our server was very attentive and her timing was amazing. The food we knew would be great at Tony’s, but it exceeded our expectations this night, the mussels in the white cream sauce were delicious, the calamari had a nice light seasoned coating that sets it apart from others, and the bruschetta came with bread that was done just right, not too crunchy. We came in a little later and the atmosphere was at a level we could have great dinner conversation as we enjoyed a great meal. We are already discussing when to go back again, as this visit had a wow factor we did not expect. Sam’s commitment to providing a great product and service in this community shows. I highly recommend trying this dining establishment out if you are looking for exceptional food and service. 5 stars...
Read moreWe went there twice. The first time we went there for a dinner we were happy with our meals. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and they were decent, nothing special but nothing to complain about either. So after having a pleasant time we decided to go back and order take out. I decided to try carbonara as I absolutely love this dish, and unfortunately it was terrible. On the menu it states authentic Italian carbonara and it definitely wasn’t. Sauce was made with cream which isn’t traditional carbonara, it was also super watery that I couldn’t even get any sauce on my pasta. Zero flavour. My husband had the salmon and he did enjoy it, it was cooked well. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the carbonara if you are hoping for authentic one! Overall the service was good, except very long wait for the bill but they were busy so I can...
Read moreDo you like paying a premium for a salad mix from Superstore? If so, this is your place! What comes out on the plate is WILDLY insulting to customers who expect high quality meals at these high prices. It’s all premade garbage, slapped together by someone who either doesn’t care or know how restaurants work. Save your money and go eat at McDonalds.
The ribeye is cut thin like a fast food hamburger patty and the cannelloni was two logs of undercooked and premade sheet pasta, rolled up like burritos and served on a giant plate that was swimming in a sauce that was saltier than whoever made it. Inedible.
Tourists won’t know any better and will likely dine here during summer months but you’ve turned away a...
