Burger King — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Went to this location around 4:25 am and a man in his mid/late 30's took my order. He is a Filipino guy named Sunny from what another employee told me this morning. He has been overcharging people on their meals through debit or credit. He for example my meal was the 2 whoppers for 7 dollars. Which comes to $7.71 after tax. He charged my card $9.71 so he can pocket the difference from the till. I caught him so I ask him for my 2 dollars back and explained to him what he had done and instead of the normal response someone honest would do he told me oh i handed you the wrong recipes. So i said no... the numbers on the reciept match mine. Its what I paid. He continuted to make excuse after excuse. Finally after I showed him the purchase through my phones online banking app he gave in... said "oh ok ok I must have mixed it up with the person that was infont of you. Because he asked for cheese.... so I said ok well cheese doesnt come to a perfect two dollars. 1 dollar plus tax would have changed the end result from 9.71 to something different so I can prove you're lying now. The trouble is he does it to everyone. One or two dollars isn't much untill its 50 people a night. I am calling the manager today and the head office. As a business owner myself this...

I will.not return. Sick to my stomach. First the counter service was terrible.

First: I wanted to dine in, but the staff placed my order into a to go bag. I asked for a tray, and the staff placed the tray on the counter and walked away. I tried speaking to him and he turned his head and walked away ignoring me. I guess Metis people are not allowed to eat inside.

Second: There was a street person in the restaurant. He was sitting there drinking from a dirty plastic cup he kept in his backpack. He kept refilling this dirty cup and consuming the beverage. Yuk! His dirty cup kept touching the drinking dispenser. After consuming so many soft drinks as he could, he would stand up and beltch very loud and then start throwing up. This went on for approximately one hour. The staff don't check the restaurant.

Finally this person left, but as he was leaving he stopped by the door and almost tossed his cookies (throwing up) on this poor Asian guy standing there. I will never forget the look in this guys eyes. Poor guy! I have never seen anyone move so fast.

I spoke to the manager and all she said was "I'm sorry." She tried to be nice, but I am so grossed out and sick to my stomach. ...

This is by far the cleanest Burger King in WPG. The staff prepare hot food and if by chance it isn't, they will replace it no problem. The service and cleanliness is what I expect from a "regular restaurant", but is normal at this location and will go out of my way to go there. If you think that I work here or something, because of my rave review, you could not be more wrong. I just got sick of messy fast food restaurants, with dirty bathrooms, poor service plus cold food, then found this place and I could not believe the care put into a fast food restaurant. If you wrote a bad review, then honestly, you do not frequent this place and had one bad experience and I frequent this place, as others would frequent their favorite coffee...
