Few friends of mine went there and they had a really terrible experience. They asked if they could combine two tables so the server asked the owner and she said that it is okay. They ordered food and proceeded to play monopoly deal while talking. The owner came and said that the place has a the place had a 2h policy and that they reached their limit and left. They checked the time and found that they have been there for 1 hour and 20 minutes only. The owner came again so they told her that they have been there for 1h and 20 minutes and that they still have 40 minutes left. She said that they have a no gaming policy. They said that they never heard of such a policy so she said that it is her restaurant thus its her rules and started pulling the tables apart although our friends were still sitting. They were preparing to pay and head put and to their surprise the owner comes in to take pictures of them without even asking for permission and when confronted she said she was just taking them to show them to her staff. This lady absolutely knows nothing about customer service and should know better than taking pictures of people without their consent. If you care about your privacy l, definitely would not recommend going...

Walked into this place with high expectations as it had decent reviews, but wow did it ever not live up to them. Firstly our "waitress" forgot about us after we were seated at the world's most uncomfortable wood table and chairs set, We were also told we would have to pre pay if we sat outside, citing issues of people skipping bills?! Anyway, after waiting for over 25 minutes for someone to even come ask how we were doing choosing, we went inside and they greeted us again like we had just walked in for first time, which infuriated me. Held my tongue about it and sat by the window. After we order the inject me dessert, we get these syringes and some fruit. looks OK...but now they have forgotten our ice cream that comes with it. Wow.... Just wow... To top it off besides the tinyyyy spoons they give you for the ice cream, there's no water or any kind of beverage served to you, no proper cutlery served (some people might want at least a fork with a fruit bowl serving??) and the portion in my opinion for 16 bucks was entirely to small. Highly doubt I will ever be back. ...

Food (3/5): I ordered the Matcha Tiramisu. The portion was quite small, but still cost $9. For this I expect pretty good quality. The taste was great, but it was not fresh. The edges of the Tiramisu were dried out and slightly gummy as if it had been sitting out on a counter for a few hours despite being behind a glass display. If I had received a fresher portion, this would be 4 stars instead of 3.

Service (4/5): Wonderful! Very friendly staff. They make you feel special when you walk in and I like that. Some quiet music to lift the atmosphere would be nice to consider.

Atmosphere (3/5): It's very cute and cozy inside with big windows on one side, There's good seating for the space too. Since it's a smaller place and below street level it's a little claustrophobic for me, especially with the low ceilings. The lighting near the rear was pretty dim, and it was a little cluttered too. A brighter interior and less clutter would be nice to...

Tried a few items on their menu for my first visit, fairly good and pricing is decent for small items. Chocoberry tart is a little too sweet, Oreo white chocotail was good, and the chocolate syringe shot was neat and different. Waffles portions are small for the prices, all average $11 I would definitely not recommend the Lychee Iced Tea, it's a small portion cup that's just brewed tea with ice and two pieces of lychee fruit. Tea Tasted bitter and nothing like Lychee. I was expecting at least a shot of lychee juice for flavour and sweetness and a larger portion cup for $6. The other fruit Iced Teas may be prepared the same way. Would probably not come back for awhile, was eyeing a peach float beverage but did not look convincing enough to buy after trying the small portioned fruit Iced Tea. I

It was our first time at Chocoberry Dessert House. We visited on a Saturday night in October and it was quiet at that time. It’s not a flashy place but it’s quaint, cozy and vintage. The menu is quite extensive. Since it was our first time and we didn’t know how big the portions were, we decided to share the warm apple cake with caramel sauce and home made soft ice cream with real vanilla bean. It wasn’t a huge portion but the quality of ingredients and taste made it worth it. It was so tasty we ordered a second one to share. We would definitely go back to try other desserts. We don’t have mobility issues but just want to point out that this location isn’t wheel chair accessible. You have to go down about 6 stairs to enter and there isn’t a ramp.

A nicely decorated desert place, light coloured wooden and brick walls. Serving waffles and ice cream, but more importantly a chocolate fondue. We had the chocolate fondue, caffe americano, honey peppermint lemon tee and a tipsy hazelnut chocolate. Not everyone like the Honey Peppermint Lemon Tee combination , the coffe and chocolate were good, the waffles tasted like they were made with croissant dough, unique flavors but not everyone liked it. Did I mention that the fondue came with a small cast iron fireplace to roast your 4 marshmallows. The menu boards on the walls are very nicely done. Interesting products but at the same time you get a lot more dessert and coffee for less money at many other places.
