I came here on a recommendation of a good friend of mine who loves desserts. I had a lemon icing and blueberry topped cinnamon bun. The dough is cheap and highly processed, and tastes like a grocery type of Pillsbury dough. The lemon filing tasted like a lemon jello powdered whipped cream from a shake and spray cannister. What is shown as ideal and delicious in the display case of desserts, isn't what you get after purchase on your plate or in your takeout box. I found a curly black type of body hair with a thick root on the end of it in the whipped cream and blueberries. I posted a picture of it below. It cost $7.12 with tax, and wasn't worth it. I can get a hairless upscaled high qualitied ingredient dessert item at Lilac Bakery for less and/or a sour dough cinnamon bun at Eahad Bakery for much less. I never tip at the cash register when I pay for an item upfront. I taste the item first, and I also let the overall costumer service experience happen first as well.

From the moment you walk in the door, you're greeted by the smell of the cinnamon buns wrapping around you. Almost as quickly, you are greeted from behind the counter by staff, or more likely the owner. You look at the wall and see there are actual steps to ordering a cinnamon bun. Clearly, this is not just any average cinnamon bun. You're going to have questions because there are so many options. The helpful person behind the counter will gladly answer any and all questions. Finally you decide on a cinnamon bun, an icing flavour and maybe a cookie or just the cookie dough (to die for!). Within a few minutes, your custom bun is in your hands, still warm and so fresh since it just came out of the oven a short time ago. Then you take that first bite and you'll likely say, as I did, "This is THE best cinnamon bun I've ever had!" Now you're hooked, addicted. That's why they're called Cinnaholic. Now, go and enjoy. You're welcome!

Very, very disappointing. The price is way too high for such a bun. The dough is terrible – dry, heavy, and packed with way too much flour. It feels like it was made carelessly, with no real flavor from the ingredients that were supposed to be in it. Have you ever heard that dough should include milk, butter, etc.? This one seems to be made just with water and flour, completely tasteless. As you can see in the photo, there’s a thick layer of dough, meaning you didn’t even try to roll it evenly. For this price, you expect flavor, something that surprises you, something that brings pleasure. Spoiler: from the very first bite, it’s complete disappointment. For the same money, you can have a much better meal at Tim Hortons or even IKEA. This feels like a total scam – the pastry has no taste P.S. This is not cinnamon buns at all😔

Edited (06/11/25): So, if I understand correctly, you treat customers and service providers differently — is that it? I believe my review was accurate then, because I wasn’t there as a customer or as a delivery person. I was there as a human, and I wasn’t treated with basic respect.

I didn’t see any rule here on Google saying there’s a deadline to reply or post a review. If I responded months later, it’s because I only saw your reply recently.

Your answer just confirms everything I described that night. Oh, and just to remind you — because I haven’t forgotten — I told you that you were being rude. I even mentioned it to another staff member. And what did you do? You were even ruder. You didn’t apologize.

Anyway, you're right — let's move on. But unfortunately, I won’t be able to forget you, because you were really harsh that night.

P.S.: Why did you delete your previous reply?

To begin with, I’m not a DoorDash employee — I do deliveries to help save money for a trip. I live in the same neighbourhood as your store and had even visited once before as a customer. I actually saw myself as a potential regular.

When I came into your store, I wasn’t rude to you or anyone. I simply didn’t see the sign and didn’t hear you the first time. You could have just repeated yourself and everything would have been fine. But instead, you were extremely rude and disrespectful for no reason.

Your response to my review clearly shows how you treat people. I truly hope you can reflect and change your attitude — not for me, not even for your business, but for the...

came in a couple days ago and employee working was snobby- super expensive and not worth the price. the icing tastes alcoholic/chemical like and inconsistent. there is also some sort of smell whenever the worker opens the oven, which is not pleasant at all.

in response to your reply, I appreciate you taking the time to respond. however, I noticed that instead of focusing on my actual experience at your business, you chose to look through my other reviews and make assumptions about my intent. to clarify, every review I leave is based on my real experiences as a customer. reviews exist to provide honest feedback, and businesses can use them as opportunities for growth rather than dismissing them as personal attacks.

I also couldn’t help but notice that many of your responses to negative reviews come across as passive-aggressive. instead of assuming that every critical review is unfair, it might be more beneficial to reflect on why customers feel this way and how their experiences can be improved.

I genuinely hope your business succeeds, and I encourage you to take feedback constructively rather than defensively. Wishing you...
