GROSS WITH A CAPITAL "G" - Forget my opinion, the proof is in my pictures. The employee behind the counter, HANDLING FOOD, had an uncovered beard that was wispy, unkempt, and had to have been 18" or longer with no net covering to protect him from contaminating customer food. DISGUSTING!!! This a blatant disregard for the Civic Bylaws set out by the City Of Winnipeg for Food Service Establishments, 15.4(c)
"Every person preparing or dispensing food or washing utensils, excluding waiters, waitresses, busboys and bartenders, shall wear head covering or hair restraints that effectively covers the hair on the head so as to prevent direct or indirect contact of the hair with the food, equipment or utensils used in the preparation of food. Beards unless neat and trimmed shall not be permitted."
It is also a violation of the Provincial Government's Public Food Health Act as they pertain to Food and Food Handling Establishments 12.1(g):
"while preparing food or washing utensils, wear a suitable hair covering or restraint to prevent direct or indirect contact of the hair with food, equipment or utensils"
This is absolutely inexcusable and Domino's should be ashamed of this disregard. I have half a mind to contact Domino's Canada about how badly this reflects on them. If this is what they are doing RIGHT IN PLAIN VIEW OF THE CUSTOMERS what else are they doing that we can't see?!?!?!
Don't believe me? The proof is in the pudding. I took TWO pictures of this fellow handling food as his scraggly uncovered beard dangled grossly RIGHT OVER THE FOOD, so there is no room for...
Read moreI had a recent experience, which, to be honest, has never happened before. I used a third-party app, aka Uber Eats, to get food delivered to someone as a gift. After placing the order, I got to know that they partner with the store and they are responsible for the delivery. In this case, it was this store, and one of their delivery driver was responsible for delivering it. Everything was fine, the food and the time it took for it to reach, but the problem which actually forced me to leave this review was that the driver decided to leave the X amount of tip, which I added on that Third Party App on the top of the food which I ordered. Now, me as a customer has full right whether to tip or not, and in the end, it is entirely my choice, but the driver chose to act in an unprofessional behavior and at the same time not following policy or protocol and even in the end disrespecting the customer's choice. It was already escalated with the Uber eats, and they are currently investigating and I felt like the store/ owner needs to know how one of their employee contributed towards a negative opinion regarding this store. Hope the driver will be educated for performing a better customer experience, which must be a part of his job duties, and if tip is what is needed to provide a better delivery service, please call the customer and respectfully ask for it rather than making own assumptions...
Read moreZERO STARS DO NOT ORDER HERE!!! WORST SERVICE & PIZZA EVER!
We placed a walk in order for 3 large pizza’s and bread sticks tonight for supper. When we got home (5 mins away from the restaurant) the pizza was cold, dry and ALL WRONG! We called the store to let them know and they blamed us for the error. Like seriously?!?! The guy on the phone then proceeded to put the blame on us and eventually after much back and forth agreed to give us a “credit”. He refused to give us his name or anything to use as reference to be able to claim said credit in the future. He claims to be the “manager” and if he really is all I can say is OMG, I really hope not. Worst customer service ever, and no wonder why many people refuse to order from this location. It’s a shame because it’s locally owned and operated. The owner really needs to evaluate his team and get rid of the ones that don’t care and are just there to collect a pay cheque. Needless to say, you guys should just order pizza from another location and don’t waste your money here because you will be sadly...
