Great market for coffee, lunch, dinner or what have you. Good for business meetings. There was a University of Manitoba meet this past week when I was there and the place is high class. The baristas in the Mottola grocery café were both quite friendly and conversational. Helped my friend choose what she wanted and their coffee is Lavazza and the way they make it is great. Be sure to try their mocha, which so far was the best out of everything there. The cinnamon and also pumpkin spice muffins are tasty, and not too sweet. The Mottola grocery also sells Bliss gourmet cookies which some are sugar-free, some are not. Got some lemon poppyseed cookies which make a nice little gift. I did also try the Japanese restaurant (Saburo), taking the kimchi chicken dish. It was good, mainly the fried chicken on top. Not too much extra batter or anything and the taste was excellent. I am used to the kimchi from Costco which is pungent, so this kimchi was not quite as good, but still overall would recommend, and the person I was with got interested in it and will probably order in the future. The owner of the market owns everything in this joint other than the Pilot coffee roaster cafe (Fools and Horses). I have not tried the Fools and Horses as the time I went to do so on game day (Sunday Jets game), they were closed.

Pizza, tacos, ramen, burgers, coffee, and craft cocktails and beer! There is truly something for everyones palate. Hargrave St. Food Hall is a high end food “court” with local restaurants having their second site here. Similar to the Forks Common but definitely it’s own unique venue. It is beautifully designed with a capacity to hold 600 people. Various types of seating to hold larger groups of people. Someone was even celebrating their Birthday 🎂. First stop, Rose Bar for cocktails! Each one did not disappoint and the service was super friendly and informative about what ingredients went into each cocktail 🍸 do not skip!! Saburo Futo Rice and Gust North Za was ordered. Definitely will be returning to try the other vendors. Check it out!!

The place has so much potential in the location and floor space but is very much under utilized . There are only 5 food spots and one is breakfast so it's only open for a few hours. The place lacks variety, seriously the options are burgers, tacos, pizza, sandwiches and ramen. The restaurants are definitely on the more pricey artisanal side of things. Large bar upstairs is the centre piece of the place with Lake of the Woods brewery anchoring the ground floor. The taproom only has a few tables. I feel like the place should have far more food court style eateries and a proper sit down anchor restaurant that serves food other than pizza (Gusto North). There should be other activities in the establishment as well. The place is dead during the day and becomes a packed lounge at night where you can't hear the person...
