I came yesterday, Sept 22. It was my very first time as well as my parents & I wanted to treat them out to a great dinner. The first thing that caught their eye was ramen so right away around 7:40pm I lined up with my parents, and another group of people lined up behind us. The people working intentionally ignored us, and about 2 staff looked at us but didn’t say a word while we stood there to be talked to or even acknowledged. My partner had to go up to the staff & asked them what was happening, and they told him that last call was 2 minutes but I had been standing there for a good 7-8 minutes already, & ultimately they said they were already cleaning 2hrs before hand & would not be able to serve us. We (my partner & the group behind us) told the staff that they should have Atleast told us so we weren’t just standing there wasting our time, one of the staff talked back rudely as well in response to my partners frustration. This is my very first review ever, & it’s so unfortunate that it had to be such a bad one. I’m so disappointed, & hope that staff can do better in the future. Absolutely rude & unprofessional. Please train your staff better, they are definitely...
Read moreMy wife and I used to go to this place regularly and order their seafood ramen which was a favourite. Then, they changed their menu and eliminated all the detailed description from their menu board. We were not familiar with what all the Japanese names were so we first asked if the seafood ramen was still available. It was not. When I asked what the other items were in terms of ingredients I was referred to the QR code to have a look at the menu. I informed the person that I did not have a smart phone with me. The told me all the items had changed and then walked away. I guess they only want to serve people prepared to navigate a bunch of technology and carry around smart phones. We do not plan to ever go there again. Why make it difficult for customers to know what you are selling? Makes no sense to me! Marketing 101 should be on the training list for this restaurant mangement. (Too bad 0 stars is...
Read moreWhether you like this place or not will probably depend on how much you like Ramen, and how often and where you've had it.
If you're new to it, you might like this place. However, (I'm not trying to sound pretentious, even though this will come off that way) I've been lucky enough to have traveled to Japan a couple times and had great ramen. I also live in Las Vegas, which has quite a few authentic ramen establishments. If you are anything like me, you will find this place extremely underwhelming, or possibly even bad.
I had the Pork Dumping Ramen. The noodles lacked any texture, and the broth was too salty and not pork shoyu at all really. I feel like I've had this ramen before, but I bought it at Costco and microwaved it myself late at night.
Perhaps some of the other dishes are alright. I certainly would order something other than the ramen if I were to...
