Tonight at 8.01 pm I went to the store to pickup a delivery for Doordash. The store has a policy to call before entering the store. That i feel unnecessary because this is the only store in winnipeg that has this rule.
Moving forward, I still called the restaurant and there was no answer. My pickup time on app showed 8.00 pm. i entered the store appx 8.01 pm. The south asian brown girl asked me “Did u call before entering”. I replied “yes i called”. She asked for the delivery name , I provided and she told me to wait.
After sometimes, the girl gave me the food and said me-
“You straight lied on my face, you didn’t call us” Me: “I didn’t lie check your phone. Don’t call me a liar”
She continued to say me a liar and the other girl beside her with a green hair apologized to me and told me to leave. I said the south asian girl that- “Learn some behaviour”. I added pointing to the green haired girl that “Teach her some behaviour”
She replied being angry that “I don’t have to learn anything from you”
Other customers were there and they had no clue about whats going on.
I want to know what is going on in this store? Firstly this is the only place in whole winnipeg that requires us to call before picking up . When i call and they dont answer the phone then they blame us and say us liar.
After a while i called the store and asked for the manager to clarify the matter. The south asian girl answered the call and she claimed she is the manager. I said that” you’re not the manager”. She continued to claim that she is the manager and told me to go to the store to believe that she is the manager.
First of all, she told me liar, disrespected me and then when i asked for someone to make a complain she claims she is the manager. What is goinnng on here????
Please train your employees to talk to couriers with minimum respect. Train them about what to say and what not to say. Train them and tell them not to claim themselves as manager.
If u have any doubt check your camera Monday March 14, 8.02pm-8.10pm, St vital...
Read moreOrdered 4 crepes from here and the first one which was the sweet tooth crepe had multiple missing ingredients. The two Caesar's were inedible because the majority of lettuce was brown and wilted, I thought it was a soggy grean bean at first, the taste was horrific. When I called the store because I had ordered it through skip the dishes the VERY unprofessional manager blamed the courier for the order even though couriers arent the ones making the food. Additionally, when I told her the lettuce was horrible and brown she condescendingly told me "well you're the first person who has complained about our lettuce." Skip would only do 50% discount so I called hoping I could possibly recieve a credit for a crepe because it is a restaurant I USED to enjoy. But she said that they could not do anything about it and again condescendingly blamed skip and essentially acted as if I was dumb for thinking cooked lettuce would be crunchy even though IT IS BROWN and absolutely discoloured and said "next time you should come in so it will be more fresh to eat." Highly don't reccomend going here and I'm kind of surprised because I have never had a bad experience prior, but this one was so horrific that I'm going to tell everyone I know to be weary of the St. Vital location and its management. This is the first restaurant I've ever been to that has been so unwilling to help or recieve any blame for their disgusting food. I ate part of the Caesar and threw it up an hour later, couldn't reccomend enough DO NOT EAT HERE. (The first below picture is the greenest piece of lettuce I could find which there were few of, and one of MANY tiny...
Read moreThis would have been 5 stars, but I recently came to this location after what was a long night of parent teachers, and was excited to order my favourite Kawaii Crepe for myself and hubby (also a teacher) only to find that they no longer sell Pump Up the Yam! The best Crepe! It’s honestly the tradition we have after every parent teacher night, and has got me through many, because it was the best pick me up after a long work day! That perfectly spiced chicken, sweet caramelized onion and baked yam, tangy peppercorn mayo, and a hint of maple syrup for the Canuck in you! I honestly tried other crepes (Ninja was pretty nice, but I would always turn back to our tried and true preference- it almost felt sacrilegious to try a different crepe)! I know I’m not alone because at the location tonight, there were two other patrons calling their significant others and asking them what they would like instead, since they also were surprised by the absence of Pump up The Yam! My group chats also exploded in outrage when I let them know the news, it’s a favourite among my friends too.
Seriously I never write google reviews since I never feel strongly enough to bother- but, y’all need to bring...
