Kim Chi - Korean Delight — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Not the best experience today compared to experiences at other locations. Staff member at front was a bit rude. I decided I wanted a drink too and cancelled the debit transaction. He made me do a separate transaction. Ok. Sure. The business should have the capability to exit and add more items. Because of this, I wasn't able to make my meals combo's. It's ok but a missed opportunity for the business to make MORE money. Also upon eating my food ( I had bibimbap) I ate a brocoli piece with an unatural crunch. There was dirt.... yes DIRT on my broccoli... in my mouth! I guess they don't wash their veggies? My companion's meal was noodles with beef and there was very very very little meat in his dish too. Disappointing on all levels! I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Kim Chi d'Ourlet in Winnipeg. First, the food was of poor quality: the dishes were bland, poorly seasoned, and did not seem fresh at all. This is far from what I expected from a restaurant claiming to serve authentic Korean cuisine. But what really made the experience unbearable was the attitude of the staff. When we tried to share our concerns, a small Asian lady greeted us with complete disrespect. She didn't want to hear any of our complaints and even seemed annoyed that we dared to raise an issue. The worst Asian food you’ll ever have. 3 years ago I ordered the Kim chi noodles and it was horrible - lacking flavour and LOTS of salt. Like they’re trying to make up their horrible stir fry with salt.

3 years later, I forgot about how horrible it was and ordered the jap chae (glass noodles). The noodles were slightly undercooked and incredibly chewy. Threw it all out.
